This great quote from Abū Hāzim, Salamah ibn Dinār al Madani (Tabi'ee), points to the great importance of hiding our good deeds the way we should be hiding our sins to preserve our sincerity and keep us from Riyaa' (the hidden shirk).

May Allāh distance us from all forms of Riyaa' and purify our actions and intentions.

Organisers claim they aim to bring up to one million people onto the streets. This is likely to be the point at which tensions are heightened and opportunistic behaviour may occur. For these reasons, London may present significant risks, particularly for individuals who are visibly Muslim or from ethnic minority backgrounds, and travel into the city on this day is strongly discouraged.
