🌴How the People of Jannah will Remember this World🌴

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله wrote:

❝When the people of Jannah will reunite, they will remember all the times they spoke about Jannah in this world. They’ll look back and laugh, at how short life was, and then smile, because beautiful is their final abode.

The people of jannah will have all that they desire. One step into Jannah and they will remember no pain. They will say they never suffered, they will say they never cried.

A dip in Jannah.

Oh how much we long for that moment. The moment where we reunite, we hug our loved ones once again. We forget about all the pain, and thank Allāh for all the tests!

How strange does it seem, that these tests which weigh a ton on our chest today will one day elevate us. Elevate us so high, that we will thank Allāh. We will thank Him for testing us, for loving us and for giving us more than anyone could imagine.

A place of eternity, vast, beautiful, peaceful.

Everything one can desire.

Be patient, oh beautiful slaves of Allāh, for our Lord is more Merciful than a mother is to her child.❞

Ruling on Lip Fillers

Question:

Abu Muhammad from Al-‘Ayn asks: what is the ruling on a woman who gets filler injections for her lips—opening or enlarging them—without her husband’s knowledge, when she has no natural defects? Does the husband have the right to stop her?

Sheikh Azeez Farhan

My brother Abu Muhammad, may Allah bless you, and the answer is for my respected sisters, daughters, and mothers:

First, Allah Almighty created the human being in the best form:
{لقد خلقنا الإنسان في أحسن تقويم}
“We have certainly created mankind in the best form.” Allah honoured him, and part of that honour is that He gave him these limbs and this body, which differ from other creatures. So a person must be content with how Allah created him, and it is not allowed to tamper with his body.

Second, Shaytan promised that he would try to make people change Allah’s creation. Allahs says referring to Shaytan:
{وَلَـَٔامُرَنَّهُمۡ فَلَیُغَیِّرُنَّ خَلۡقَ ٱللهِ}
“And I will command them, so they will change the creation of Allah” [Surah An-Nisāʾ: 119]. So among changing Allah’s creation is when a normal, healthy person—who has no issues—goes by choice to alter their body: inflating lips, enlarging or reducing breasts, enlarging or reducing the jaw, enlarging or reducing the nose—something strange! This is considered responding to Shaytan, because he said: “I will command them, and they will change the creation of Allah.” Many scholars say, in a strong opinion, that such actions are part of changing Allah’s creation.

Another point: if a person has a defect—for example, if a body part is damaged—it is allowed to use cosmetic surgery to return it to how it was. Cosmetic procedures existed even in the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him). A man named As'ad Ibn 'Urfujah had his nose cut off in a well known battle, the battle of Yawm Al-Kilab, so he first used an iron nose, but it developed a bad smell/began to rotten. The Prophet allowed him to use a nose made of gold instead, since gold does not rust like iron. This shows that if a person has a physical problem, it is permissible to restore the body part to its original state.

There is also the hadith of the three men: the bald man, the leper, and the blind man. When the angel (in the form of a man) asked them what they wished for, the bald man said he wanted hair so people would no longer find him repulsive, the leper wanted good skin, and the blind man wanted his sight back. This shows that if someone has a defect or problem, it is allowed to restore the body to normal.

But as for lip fillers, cheek fillers, and similar things, these are considered changes to Allah’s creation and are not allowed. A woman should not undergo such procedures—especially without her husband’s knowledge—because then she commits two wrongs:

First, she disobeys or goes against her husband; She disobeys him especially if he forbids it, and goes against him if she does not respect him—he sees her one way in the morning and another in the evening.

Second, she changes Allah’s creation. Is her nose cut off so she needs a replacement? Were her lips burned or injured and deformed so they need repair? That would be understandable. But otherwise, it is just playing with Allah’s creation, which is not allowed.

Therefore, my dear brother, a married woman does not have the right to undergo even permissible procedures without her husband’s permission. However, if the husband insists on preventing a necessary corrective procedure—such as restoring a damaged body part—then he is not to be obeyed in that case. But if she is complete and healthy as Allah created her in the best form, and she goes to change that, then she has disobeyed Allah and also disobeyed her husband. We ask Allah to guide everyone.

Ukhti, your lips look better without fillers. Skip those painful injections, save your money, and don’t turn something naturally beautiful into “sausage lips.”

Lip fillers are filled with risks. The common stuff: bruising, bleeding, swelling, and a bit of pain or itching—usually temporary. But you can also end up with uneven lips, lumps, cold sores, or even allergic reactions.

Bigger risks: fake fillers, DIY disasters, or rare but serious issues like blocked blood vessels.

I would’ve shared pics of DIY disasters to show you just how bad it gets—you’d probably think they were from a boxing match—but it’s ayb to share women’s awrah.

Abu Hurairah (May Allāh be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said, "Every Muslim has five rights over another Muslim: to return the greetings (Salam), to visit the sick, to accompany funeral processions, to accept an invitation, to respond to the sneezer [to say: 'Yarhamuk-Allāh (may Allāh bestow His Mercy on you) when the sneezer praises Allāh]."

[Al-Bukhari & Muslim]

Thauban, the freed slave of Allāh's Messenger ﷺ reported that the Messenger ﷺ said:

“He who visits the sick continues to remain in the fruit garden of Paradise until he returns.”

Dua of Dawud عليه السلام that was said to memorise إن شاء الله after the lesson today

Sunan Tirmidhi 3490
Declared Sound by Imam Tirmidhi

O Allāh, I ask you for your love and the love of those who love you and the love of those deeds that will bring me your love. O Allāh, make your love more beloved to me than myself, my family and even cold water.

Below a caller asks a question regarding this particular issue (of the timing of Ishā) we face in the west to the Nobel

Question:

The Caller is asking about Salahtul Ishā as she is a student and someone had given her information that it is one hour after the Athan of Maghrib and she wants the correct answer around that because she has prayed a number of prayers following that fatwa.
Answer:

In the name of Allāh The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful All praise is (Purely) due to Allāh The lord of all that which exists.
And may blessings and peace be upon our Prophet ‌‎Muhammad ‎ﷺ and upon his family and his companions. And those who follow them in goodness until the day of Judgement.

If the one who was asking the question is a student, there is nothing upon her. The sin is upon him (The one who gave her the fatwa) because he gave her a wrong fatwa without knowledge. And Indeed, Allāh has said

‏As-Saf 61:7

‏And who does more wrong than the one who invents a lie against Allāh

And he misguided a person without knowledge. Indeed, Allāh doesn’t guide the wrongdoing people. Whoever gives fatwas to the people without knowledge (clear understanding) which is wrong, Allāh has left him astray and hasn’t guided him because he is a wrongdoer. Whoever gives a fatwa saying that Ishā enters one hour after beginning of sun set, indeed he has given a fatwa without any knowledge. Because the Prophet ﷺ ‎of Allāh told us that the time of Ishā doesn’t enter except when the redness in the sky completely disappears. And it’s not possible for the redness in the sky to go only one hour after the beginning of sun set.

And it is for the one who gave the fatwa to repent to Allāh and reflect upon this matter. And not to misguide the servants of Allāh from the laws of Allāh
Imam Ibn Al-Jawzi رحمه اللّه said:

"My son, do not let your past carelessness make you lose hope of achieving good, for many people have come back to wakefulness after long sleep."

What should we do during these blessed days?

Shaykh Dr. Muḥammad Hishām al-Ṭāhirī al-Afghānī
*What to do During the First Ten Days of Dhul-Hijjah*

Narrated by Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said that the Prophet ﷺ said:
> “There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these days” — meaning the first ten days (of Dhul-Hijjah). They said: “O Messenger of Allah, not even jihad in the way of Allah?” He said: “Not even jihad in the way of Allah, except for a man who goes out with his life and wealth and returns with nothing from that (i.e., he loses both his life and wealth).”

This hadith shows that good deeds during these days are more beloved to Allah than deeds done during any other days of the year, without exception. The only exception is the highest form of jihad, where a person gives up both his life and wealth completely.

There is no authentic hadith specifying exactly how much the reward is multiplied during these days, but the hadith clearly shows that the reward is immensely great, and Allah knows best how great it is.

The hadith of Ibn Abbas also indicates that all righteous deeds are multiplied during these ten days without exception.

Sheikh Saliḥ Al-Fawzān on the actions that should be *increased* upon during the days of Dhul-Hijjah:

1⃣. Voluntary prayer, especially at night

2⃣. Voluntary fasting, especially the ninth day (except for those performing Hajj)

3⃣. Glorifiying Allāh with takbīr (i.e saying: "Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, Lā ilāha illa Allāh, Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, wa lillāhi al-Ḥamd")

4⃣. Gloryifying Allāh with tasbih (i.e saying: "Subḥān Allāh") and tahlil (i.e saying: "Lā ilāha illa Allāh")

5⃣. Reciting the Qur'ān

6⃣. Giving charity to the poor and for the sake of Allāh

7⃣. To sacrifice on the day of 'Eid

A student should collect benefits in his books by writing them down, as writing is from the uṣūl of seeking knowledge.

Having separate notebooks for different sciences helps a student remain organised. When reviewing, it becomes much easier to return to and find those benefits.
