That blissful Lord, Śrī Viṣṇu, is the sole God, the Supreme Truth. Fully embracing the One who reclines beautifully on Ādiśeṣa, one becomes free from all evils.

His name "Nārāyaṇa" is the shelter for all beings. The name "Nārāyaṇa" is the destroyer of all ignorance and sorrow.

Recite "Nārāyaṇa, Nārāyaṇa" and be glad, O mind! It is said that heaps of sins vanish even by a single recital of the name Nārāyaṇa!

Those who exist for the Most Perfect Lord who is Śrīman Nārāyaṇa, the lotus-eyed One who is the Supreme Knowledge and the Supreme Bliss, the One who is known by the Vedas, the Supreme Truth praised in all the Vedas, the sole Lord of Lakṣmīdevī, the Protector of all entities, they know perfect happiness and remain free from all sorrows. Those who have no regard for the Highest but embrace imperfect and blemished things, or serve any other god, will end up failing to attain true knowledge and freedom from sorrows.

O Bhagavān! You are the One who has taken the hand of Āṇdāḷ in Yours! Seeing Her great kāruṇyam for us, please deliver us from all miseries, O Yatirājanātha (the One who protects Śrī Rāmānuja)!

Today marks the beginning of the Margazhi month in the Tamil calendar. This month is highly sacred for all those who follow Sanātana Dharma. Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa Himself, who is praised in the Vedas and Smritis as the Supreme Truth, declares in Bhagavad-gītā that He is Margashirsha among months. During this month, Āṇdāḷ who is counted amongst the 12 Āḻvārs who are totally absorbed devotees of Viṣṇu, and the only female Āḻvār, performed Pāvai Nonbu (a sacred vow performed during Margazhi Month) as a little child to attain Śrī Kṛṣṇa as Her husband. She sang the Tamil Prabandham known as Tiruppāvai where she invites everyone to become devoted to Bhagavān and sing praises for Him.

Let us worship Godā Devī who captured Śrī Kṛṣṇa with the garland she offered after wearing it first herself. She invites all the jīvātmās who are like girls that belong to Bhagavān, to become totally attached to Śrī Kṛṣṇa and sing Him praises. She declares that Śrīman Nārāyaṇa is the means and the goal. She is the Mother of all living entities. Let us bow down again and again at her divine feet, on this blessed Margazhi (Margashirsha) month.

Bewilderment, attachments, aversions, fear, etc. are all products of Bhagavān's potency of māya, which causes delusion. Only taking shelter at His divine feet, one crosses beyond that, by His grace, easily.

Who is the Beautiful Lord of Śrī? Who is the Supreme Brahman, the lotus-eyed One, whose glories are sung all throughout the Vedas? Who is the One from whose lotus navel Brahmā is born? Who is the Self that is always meditated upon by Śaṇkara (Śiva)? Whose names does Nārada constantly recite with great joy? Who saved Draupadī in time of great distress? Who rescued the elephant Gajendra? Who slew Rāvaṇa?

Is He not Sundararāja who resides in the sacred Tirumaliruncholai? He is the One who is praised beautifully by Āṇdāḷ, His lotus feet are our refuge.

Let us worship Periya Nambi who always engages in the Kalyana Gunanubhavam of Bhagavān (total absorption in the divine qualities of the blemishless Lord known as Sriman Narayana). He is the preceptor of Sri Ramanuja himself, endowed with countless noble qualities, the one who abundantly received Alavandar's grace.

Let us worship him, who is filled with suddhasattva (pure goodness), who Varadaraja Himself recommended to Ramanuja as Guru.

O Lord of Ayodhya! Fortunate are those who call out to You, reciting Your names such as Rāghava, Narasimha, Kakutstha, Janaki Vallabha. You are the Protector of those who surrender at Your feet, glories, glories to You who are the ultimate Goal and the Highest Truth!

Who can fathom the simplicity (saushilya) of Bhagavān? He appears as the arcavatara to bless the whole world, despite us not knowing how to worship Him properly, and even seeing Him, His arca vigraha, as a "thing", which is most cruel - yet still He remains, that is His greatness

Recite "Namo Nārāyaṇa" and rejoice in worshipping the Supreme Truth, the Lord of all Worlds, the One who destroys all evils, the divine Husband of Śrī who is worshipped by all sages! Worshipping that Bhagavān is heaven, whereas not thinking of Him even one second is hell.

Upon knowing the greatness of the lotus feet of Śrīman Nārāyaṇa, both the desire for worldly things (kāma) as well as any fear for calamities (bhaya) cease altogether. One rejoices in the adoration of the divine feet of that One Self of all selves.

Always seek the Good and the True. True happiness is not attained by gratifying the bodily senses, but by becoming free from all darkness and reaching the Highest Truth, who is govindarAja.

Save for contemplating the beautiful Lord of Sri, the One who has infinite auspicious qualities, the Conclusion of Vedanta, the One worshipped by all devatas, the Soul of everything, there is nothing better to do. Let us worship that Beautiful, Enchanting Prince of Gokulam, who is the Supreme Person, serving whose lotus feet and dwelling with whom is the final goal of life.

Śrī Hari is the Supreme Person, the only God, the Reality of all that is real, the Beauty of all that is beautiful. All the jīvātmās (souls) exist only for Him, who is the only Owner and Husband of everyone. He is the Highest, and the One who, by abandoning all else, is meant to be always contemplated, heard about, sung about, worshipped with flowers. He is the Self of all selves. Those who know this firmly, who never bow down to any other deity but Śrī Viṣṇu who indwells everything, are blessed, they know the true nature of the self and engage always in devotion to the God of gods.

The greatest gift Bhagavān bestows us the gift of bowing at His divine feet. Let us worship that Vāsudeva who is Sarveśvara. He is Everything.
