Cortensor To Use ParallelAI’s PACT Tools To Improve Scalability Of AI Inference

In an exciting application of our parallel processing technology, @CortensorNetwork will be using our PACT Automated Code Transformer to enable their nodes and miners to run more efficiently and faster on their Decentralized AI inference platform.

Cortensor is a decentralized AI inference network that leverages distributed computation and open-source models to provide scalable, cost-effective processing for AI tasks and inference. The network is powered by community-driven miners who contribute computational resources and are incentivized for their work.

As part of the partnership, the Parallel Foundation will be offering an in-kind donation of 30,000 PAI tokens worth of PACT usage to give Cortensor’s community of miners access to trying out our parallel processing tools. This is designed to meet the Foundation’s mission of democratizing access to parallel processing for new audiences. The allocated PAI tokens will be burnt with usage, helping accelerate PAI’s deflationary tokenomics.

We couldn’t be more excited to see PACT being applied to yet another innovative new AI use case as the adoption phase of the technology continues apace.

We’re excited to announce a partnership with @official_nfinityAI that will see an exciting new application of ParallelAI’s PACT Automated Code Transformer and ParaHub Decentralized GPU Aggregator for NFINITY’s innovative workflow automation use case.

$NFNT bring workflow automations to the public with a suite of tools that function like the “Zapier of AI.” They enable users to fine-tune AI models and integrate them into seamless workflows. Using PACT and ParaHub will enable NFINITY to integrate deeper decentralization into their workflow automation solution and improve the efficiency of their compute power.

Meanwhile, the Parallel Foundation and NFINITY will also be working on an additional two-way collaboration. The Parallel Foundation will lock 30,000 of their $PAI tokens to fund NFINITY in testing out PACT and ParaHub, whilst NFINITY will be using its NFINITY Studios video workflow automation suite to create tailored videos helping other grant recipients showcase their usage of Parallel Foundation Grants.

We’re pleased to unveil a new partnership with @XNETgossip, a leader in wireless connectivity and telecom infrastructure optimization. Together, we will be leveraging ParallelAI’s parallel processing tools and XNET’s vast network data to redefine how AI is applied to strengthen telecom networks and make them more efficient.

XNET collects extensive data from wireless-connected nodes that power telecom giants like AT&T, helping to optimize network coverage.

Using our parallel processing tools and new ParaGen AI model deployment technology, ParallelAI will run a campaign where users will be crowdsourced to build AI models for optimizing the locations and placements of these nodes, leveraging the big data that XNET are collecting.

Cellular map data from different sources will also be used to determine where current carrier coverage is weakest so that it can be optimized in the future.

This is an exciting opportunity to apply not just our parallel processing tools buy also our new ParaGen AI model deployment tech to solving real world problems.

Development Update: Exciting Progress on ParaHub and Beyond

We’re thrilled to kick off 2025 with immense excitement and momentum. This year promises to be a pivotal one for AI and for the ParallelAI ecosystem, as we continue to build and expand solutions that redefine decentralized compute and AI deployment. Q1 of 2025 is shaping up to be a game-changing period for ParaHub, Parilix, PACT, and our newest product, ParaGen. Here’s a detailed update on where we stand and what’s coming next.

Successful Integrations with Leading GPU Providers
We have successfully achieved several critical milestones that form the backbone of ParaHub’s compute infrastructure. We have managed to fully integrate with multiple vendors including IO.Net, Aethir and Cudos. First, we deployed Kubernetes on GPU bare-metal Ubuntu instances, creating a robust and scalable environment for managing workloads across multiple GPU providers. Users can now upload Python source code as a zipped file into an S3 bucket, simplifying the process of transferring their programs to the platform. From there, the system automatically builds Docker images from the uploaded code and pushes these images to a secure cloud container registry, ensuring the program is packaged correctly for deployment. Once ready, the Kubernetes cluster seamlessly pulls the Docker image from the container registry and launches it as a pod on the GPU infrastructure, streamlining job orchestration. Finally, users can monitor their running programs by retrieving detailed logs, such as outputs from a simple Python program, providing transparency and insight into their jobs’ performance and execution. This integrated workflow ensures that ParaHub delivers an efficient, end-to-end solution for running GPU-based computations.

Next Steps: Integration and Final Testing
With these technical milestones achieved, our immediate focus shifts to integrating the backend with ParaHub’s sleek user interface. This includes expanding the backend to ensure easy scalability, allowing us to plug in new vendors and hardware options seamlessly in the future. We aim to complete these integrations within the next two weeks, after which we’ll enter a short period of final testing. This rigorous process will ensure a smooth and reliable experience for our users when ParaHub V1 officially goes live.

Official Launch Timeline
While we are reserving the announcement of the official launch date for a later time, you can expect to get your hands on ParaHub V1 towards the end of January. Stay tuned for further updates as we count down to this exciting milestone.

Beyond ParaHub: A Packed Q1 2025
As the team drives towards the ParaHub launch, we’re also working on several parallel initiatives that will strengthen and expand the ParallelAI ecosystem:

- Parilix and PACT Development: We are finalizing joint venture agreements to bring additional development expertise to these core products, ensuring continued innovation and growth.
