Sinjil – Ramallah | Palestinian citizen Wael Basem Ghafari (48) was martyred after suffering a severe heart attack, following physical assault by Israeli forces who prevented him from reaching his livestock shelter, which settlers had set on fire in the Al-Tall area south of the town.
Sinjil Mayor, Dr. Moataz Tufasheh, stated: “Wael Ghafari tried to reach his home to extinguish the fire, but was beaten and blocked by Israeli soldiers, leading to his death at the scene.”
سنجل – رام الله | استشـ ـهاد المواطن وائل باسم غفري (48 عامًا) إثر نوبة قلبية حادة، بعد تعرضه للضـ ـرب من قبل قوات الاحتـ ـلال ومنعه من الوصول إلى عزبته التي أضرم فيها المستـ ـوطنون النيران في منطقة التل جنوب البلدة.
رئيس بلدية سنجل، د. معتز طوافشة، أوضح: “الشـ ـهيد وائل غفري حاول الوصول إلى منزله لإخماد الحريق، لكن جنود الاحـ ـتلال اعتـ ـدوا عليه بالضـ ـرب ومنعوه من ذلك، ما أدى إلى استشـ ـهاده في المكان.”

Eating shrapnel-filled flour dug out from under the rubble is what Palestinians are resorting to as famine spreads across the Gaza Strip.
