ከእለታት ባንዱ ቀን አንድ ታዳጊ አባቱን “የህይወት ዋጋው
ስንት ነው?” ሲል ጠየቀው፡፡ አባትም መልስ በመስጠት
ፈንታ ልጁን እንዲህ ሲል አዘዘው፡፡ “እንካ ይህንን የድንጋይ
ቁራጭ...ወደ ገበያ ውሰደው፡፡ ሰዎችም ዋጋውን ከጠየቁህ
በጣቶችህ ሁለት ቁጥርን ብቻ አሳያቸው እንጂ ምንም
አትናገር” አለው፡፡ ልጁም ድንጋዩን ወሰደ፡፡ ወጥቶም በገበያ
መሃል ቆመ፡፡ አንዲት ሴትም መጣች፡፡ “ይህ ድንጋይ
ዋጋው ስንት ነው? ብትሸጥልኝ ወስጄ ግቢዬ ውስጥ
አስቀምጠዋለሁ” አለችው፡፡ ልጁም እንደታዘዘው ምንም
ሳይናገር ሁለት ጣቶቹን አሳያት፡፡ እሷም አለች “ሁለት ብር?
እወስደዋለሁ!!” ልጁም ወደ ቤቱ ተመለሰ፡፡ በገበያ
ያጋጠመውንም ለአባቱ ነገረው፡፡
አባትየውም አለው “አሁን ደግሞ ድንጋዩን ይዘህ ወደ
ሙዚየም ሂድ፡፡ ዋጋውን ሲጠይቁህም ሁለት ጣቶችህን
አሳይ”፡፡ ልጁም ወደ ሙዚየም ወጣ፡፡ ገዢም መጥቶ ዋጋ
በጠየቀው ጊዜ ሁለት ጣቶቹን አሳየው፡፡ ገዢውም “ሁለት
መቶ ብር? እወስደዋለሁ!” አለው፡፡ ልጁም በድንጋጤ ወደ
ቤቱ ተመለሰ፡፡ ያጋጠመውንም ለአባቱ ነገረው፡፡
አባትየውም ተናገረ፡፡ “አሁን ደግሞ በመጨረሻ ድንጋዩን
ይዘህ ወደ የከበሩ ማዕድናት መሸጫ ሂድ ለባለቤቱም
አሳየው” አለው፡፡ ልጁም ሄደ፡፡ ለሱቁም ባለቤት አሳየው፡፡
የሱቁ ባለቤት በመገረም “ይህ እኮ አለም ላይ እጅግ ውድ
ከሆኑ የከበሩ ድንጋዮች አንዱ ነው” አለ፡፡ “ከየት አገኘኸው?
ስንትስ ትሸጠዋለህ?” ሲል ጠየቀው፡፡ ልጁም ምንም
ሳይናገር ሁለት ጣቶቹን አሳየ፡፡ የሱቁም ባለቤት አለ....
“ይህንን ድንጋይ በሁለት መቶ ሺህ ብር እወስደዋለሁ፡፡”
ልጁም በመገረም እየሮጠ ወደ ቤቱ ተመልሶ ያጋጠመውን
ለአባቱ ነገረው፡፡ አባትየውም “ልጄ አሁን የህይወትህ ዋጋ
ተገልጦልሃል” አለው፡፡
አየህ የመጣህበት ቦታ፣ ዘርህ፣ ሃይማኖትህ፣ የቤተሰቦችህ
ሃብት፣ የተወለድክበት ቦታ ልዩነት አይፈጥርም፡፡ ዋናው
ራስህን የምታስቀምጥበት ቦታ፣ ራስህን የምታገኝበት
የሰዎች ስብስብ ነው፡፡ ልዩነቱ ያለው ራስህን ለመሸከም
በምትመርጥበት መንገድ ነው፡፡ ህይወትህን ሙሉ የሁለት
ብር ድንጋይ ዋጋ ስትሰጠው ኖረህ ይሆናል፡፡ ህይወትህን
ሙሉ የኖርከው ዋጋህ ሁለት ብር ብቻ እንደሆነ በሚያስቡ
ሰዎች ተከበህ ይሆናል፡፡ ነገር ግን እያንዳንዱ ሰው ውድ
የሆነ የከበረ ድንጋይ በውስጡ ይዟል፡፡ ልዩነቱም ያለው
ውስጣችን ያለውን የከበረ ድንጋይ አይተው ዋጋ በሚሰጡን
ሰዎች መሃል መገኘትን ስንመርጥ ነው፡፡ ራሳችንን በገበያ
ወይም በከበሩ ማዕድናት ሱቅ የማስቀመጥ ምርጫው
አለን፡፡ በሌሎች ሰዎች ውስጥ ያለውንም ውድ ዋጋ
ለማየት ምርጫው የኛው ነው፡፡ ሌሎች ሰዎችም የከበረ
ዋጋቸውን እንዲረዱ ማድረግ እንችላለን፡፡ አብረህ
የምትውላቸውን ሰዎች በጥንቃቄ ምረጥ፡፡
ይህ በህይወትህ ልዩነትን ይፈጥራልና፡፡
