A war, thousands of miles away between two Middle Eastern peoples somehow becomes an issue in a local council elections. Where is the relevance to the local people in that council ward? Particularly to the native people of Britain? This is politics in a multi-cultural state, even at the microcosm, foreign peoples, cultures and conflicts played out on the street of England.

Love this, it all sounds so straight forward and appeals to the convenience and of course couched in the terms of what suggests ethical, people jump on board not realising that it was too convenient. This reminds me of the Covid narrative, this is what is wrong, this is how it will effect us if we do not find a solution and here is the solution, quick, easy and convenient. If you don't buy the solution of course, you're the one that is wrong, unethical and can be cast out. In this context of course it is gardening and no one is getting cancelled, de-licenced or ostracised from polite society. Excepting the most militant horticulturalists. Morgoth of course highlights the point in a gentler context but valid observation, how many two dimensional thinkers, lulled into compliance by an authoritatively presented argument, will doggedly and unthinkingly walk into a pharmacy and stick a needle in their arm? Oh wait.....
