I've been more productive during the first couple of weeks than I have expected.
I realize that those of you who have or are contributing, it is a major sacrifice as the membership fees are quite high. Therefore I have decided to upgrade the membership terms:
At the end of the academic year you will each now receive not one, but two books. The original one previously mentioned (and that I will author) as well as an English translation of either an Afrikaans or Dutch work relevant to the Institute's mission and, importantly, one that has never before been translated (for this purpose I will simply take 50 cents per month from the research fund and add it to the book fund).
Being trilingual is a skill I cannot but use for the advantage of the Institute's Members.
