"Regarding the morning prayers it was common for the earliest Christians in North Africa to interpret the redemptive work of Christ within a paradigm of darkness being transformed into light."
In his latest essay on Radical Two-Kingdom theology, Pactum Institute research fellow, Rev. Bret L McAtee provides a foretaste of his upcoming book.

The Whoppers R. Scott Clark Tells About R2K
In a blog post at Heidleblog Dr. R. Scott Clark basically tells us that if we were smart like him and had the smart books he has read we would see how foolish we are for daring to disagree with him…
In light of continuing debates on epistemology, it is important to stay informed with regard to the latest scholarship:
"Even those who reject the philosophy of Presuppositionalism should recognize that it does successfully point out what even leading atheistic theorists of the post-secular now admit, namely that civic legislation itself necessarily requires a lawgiver whose legislative authority is publicly recognized and respected (Habermas, 2017:25; Sinnot-Armstrong, 2009:100).
The Presuppositionalist notion of theocracy as inescapable can be most useful in terms of enriching the post-secular understanding of the role of religion in the public domain, especially in terms of clarifying what theorists of the post-secular have termed the 'blurring of the boundaries between the secular and religious' (Momberg,
Granholm & Nyäs, 2012:2) as well as contributing to the development of
new frameworks in contemporary discussions on religion in public life, which are still characterized by
'competing understandings of key terms such as religion, secularism, secularization and the post-secular' (May, Wilson,
Baumgart-Ochse & Skeikh, 2014:331).
Furthermore, it successfully challenges what is now widely recognized as unsatisfactory notions of secularity which often simplistically equates it with a non-theistic worldview (Domingo, 2016:12)."

"One of the pre-eminent ways in which God judges a wicked and apostate nation is by submitting it to the rule of pagans (Deuteronomy 28:36-37) and foreigners (Deuteronomy 28:43-44). This is evidently what is happening to the United Kingdom and most other Western nations. That being said, having someone who practices a religion as demonic as Hinduism in the highest office in the land is a particularly severe judgment."

Hoedemakerianism > Kuyperianism.
In his latest scholarly paper, dr. Schlebusch argues that:
"Hoedemaker’s anti-revolutionary idea of theonomy, that is, his conviction that the Bible provides the absolute moral standard for all spheres of society in all times and contexts, was more decisively and more consistently anti-liberal than the religious pluralism famously advocated by the Neo-Calvinists Bavinck or Kuyper."

"The petition of 'come quickly Lord Jesus' is not a plea that the petitioner may be removed from history; it is a militant expression of the hope that God will avenge even today. For John the final and visible return of Christ in power and judgment is far from an unprecedented event but rather it is the final, ultimate, and physical climax to a series of divine comings that are a trademark of Christ’s kingdom of power."

Both Rev McAtee's polemic work against R2K as well as the first-ever English translation of Bavinck's Christian Philosophy of Science will, God willing, be released early in 2023.

"What we need is a social order based not in the sovereignty of the state and not in the individual, but in divinely-ordained socio-covenantal units. What we need is subsidiarity in the spirit of the judicial reform brought about by Moses and Jethro in Exodus 18—where the socio-political order is restructured with 'rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens' (verse 21). It is only through a harmonious interplay between all of the basic units of that social order that the groundwork can be laid for the formation of a truly Christian state—a state that is not propositional, but the reflection of an organically developed national life rooted in a covenantal family, clan and community life."
