Birthed in a digital age, current era kids are wired to need more stimuli to keep them engaged. AI has also completely changed the way that children's animation looks and feels. It seems to value perfection, is driven by existing data so contains nothing novel and often to me feels soulless. We are a very long way from the beautiful hand drawn watercolour scenes of Bambi.

This is why for the animation of King of the Birds Alex opted to create an animation that has this beautiful hand drawn aspect to it so you can really FEEL the artist behind the pens!

Rose has been locked in a commercial ritual since the 18th century when it became fashionable to give roses on valentines day to signify romantic love.

Nowadays every single commercial venture attempts to get you to buy more things (cards, chocolates, alcohol, sexy underwear, gifts) to express your 'love' - and hand over roses that have been bred to conform to standards they never set and mirror deeply how many women also feel obliged to conform to current beauty standards even if that means having operations and procedures that put them at risk etc.

Wild roses medicine is ancient and intuitive—rooted in the body and woven through the heart. From a herbal perspective, wild rose (especially the hips and petals) has long been used by herbalists for healing the heart.

During an eclipse the earth energy grid systems power down . It’s like a full cntrl/alt/delete reset moment for the entire planet . That moment of pause between the inbreath and the out. Our mother is endlessly giving to all her creations and when we align with this moment of pause and celebrate her we assist in this planetary reset

I’ll be making an Andean Despacho later today to give thanks for this moment of renewal and change … to celebrate all that’s been received so that so much more can come !

🔥🐴 traditionally these were made for deeply practical reasons - to ensure the next harvest for the community and were a way of giving back for all that you have received

In the month of February in the Andes ALL FARMING STOPS AND THEY JUST MAKE OFFERINGS - the whole month ! Can you imagine 💞

In honour of this I’ve made my despacho master class training free for this month only (usually £55) - it takes about 45 mins to complete and you’ll need a pen and paper to hand to make notes .

The despacho is an art form in itself no two are ever the same so you can imagine my surprise when this one (a gift from one of my brothers in the lineage) had a horse in it ! It’s been here for 6 months so he had no way of knowing I’d use it now ! Well maybe he did on a cosmic level !! Hahah

The power of despacho never ceases to amaze me - they are full power manifestation tools - once you have given thanks for all you received you can ask for more !!

I have heard a rumour that a Canadian company are attempting to bring to market an Amanita Muscaria beverage drink comparable to what Trip is to the CBD market . They are speaking about the idea of being able to get a drunk like high from the drink .

A SONG FOR MENARCHE ❤️🌹

Myself & the young women of Bloom are super excited to be releasing this single which celebrates a pivotal point in a young woman's life- their menarche (first period) . For generations women have been told things like their period is "the curse", "unclean time' & "moon sickness" expressively women have been dismissed and undermined by phrases such as "oh she must be on her period" rather than understanding the deep alchemy of our monthly bleed.

Times are changing and we want to help our young women understand this is a time of empowerment when our intuition and our feelings are heightened as a superpower not as a curse. 🌀🩸🌀

Bloom is a project for young women that does just that . My daughter and I went to their menarche retreat last year in Spain and it was amazing to help my daughter have a very different menarche experience than mine. This International Women’s Day, the masculine message is give to receive : basically - contribute more, work harder, and maybe recognition will follow.

But creativity doesn’t actually begin with giving.

It begins with receiving. 💞

Listening deeply, connecting in stillness, opening like a vessel or a conduit so that music can spill out of us.
