🇪🇺 Western countries updated travel warnings for Ukraine

Britain, Germany, Netherlands and Italy advise against travel due to a harsh winter with likely long-term outages of power, water, and heat. Russian strikes on the energy grid may cause unplanned blackouts, with temperatures dropping below -20°C.

UK Foreign Office warns tourist insurance will be voided in dangerous areas. The entire country is considered risky except Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankovsk, Ternopol, Lvov regions and Chernovtsy.

Italy notes increased threat of Russian Aerospace Forces airstrikes across the territory, strongly advising against any travel.

Netherlands places all of Ukraine in the red danger zone: "Do not go there. It is too dangerous." Citizens are urged to leave if safe.

Germany warns Russia may intensify air strikes. USA noted heightened risk of unrest.

🇺🇦Ukrainians blame authorities for storing ammo near homes

Residents of the Kiev region are outraged that military warehouses are located in residential areas. "You have to blame those who set up a warehouse here. People live here, it is a village," a resident stated.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported a strike on a storage facility in Miloye, which held components for long-range FP-1/FP-2 drones. Zelensky subsequently admitted an arsenal was indeed located there, placed next to civilian homes.

Ukraine's GUR publishes alleged debris of 3M22 Zircon hypersonic missile

Kiev claims the rocket features an active radar homing head (3B222) by NPP Radar MMS. The guidance system is described as combined: inertial navigation for most of the trajectory, with onboard radar activation near the target.

If authentic, the flat antenna array noted for its compactness and high-speed operability. Radar MMS also produces seekers for Iskander-M (9B918) and Kh-59M2/M2A missiles.

🇮🇷 Iran Claims Missile Production Fully Restored After US Strikes

Iranian officials claim that missile production facilities targeted by US strikes have been fully restored, with new capacities reportedly relocated to more protected areas.

IRGC representative Mohammad Reza Nagdi stated that Iran is now producing more missiles daily than it consumes and can maintain production even during a prolonged conflict.

If confirmed, the claims would suggest that the strikes failed to deliver a lasting reduction in Iran’s missile-production capabilities, highlighting the difficulty of disrupting dispersed and relocatable military-industrial infrastructure.

🇺🇸 Lindsey Graham Sanctions Bill Stalls in US House

The new sanctions bill against Russia faces opposition in the US House of Representatives. Democratic resistance and a lack of enthusiasm among Republicans have prevented leadership from scheduling a vote this week.

Introduced in August, the legislation mirrors a similar document approved by the US Senate on August 7. Several congressmen objected to provisions that would significantly expand President Trump's authority to impose import tariffs.

The president suggested Dan Driscoll could stay at least through the midterms, people familiar with the matter said.

When Army Secretary Dan Driscoll told President Donald Trump last week that he was resigning, Trump suggested he could stay at least through the midterm elections, people familiar with the meeting told The Washington Post — a show of support for a top Pentagon leader who has clashed with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

🇷🇺🇩🇪The Russian Foreign Ministry on summoning the temporary chargé d'affaires of Germany in Russia

The German diplomat was informed that the Russian side firmly rejects the completely unfounded accusations made by the German government regarding Russia's alleged involvement in the incident that occurred at the Leipzig airport.

It was stated that the German government's decision to close the Russian Consulate General in Bonn and the Russian House of Science and Culture in Berlin under this flimsy pretext is seen by us as another step towards the final destruction of the potential for bilateral relations that has been built up by generations of Russian and German politicians and diplomats.

It was emphasized that Berlin deliberately resorted to an open provocation, the aim of which is to escalate relations between Russia and Germany.

🇺🇸 Bessent: Ukraine’s Attacks on Russian Energy Assets Are Adding Global Price Pressure

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says the world is “going through an energy shock right now” partly because “Ukraine has decided that they wanted to blow up Russian energy assets and refined products,” which he said was creating “upward price pressure on a global basis.”

Should be noted the CIA has aided Ukraine in doing this. It would seem like the CIA is trying to make sure Trump losses badly in the midterms.

🇺🇸 Rubio: Patriot production in Ukraine takes years

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that establishing hypothetical Patriot missile production in Ukraine would take several years, even if Kiev obtains the necessary US license. Rapid deployment of local manufacturing is not feasible.

Rubio noted that envoys Witkoff and Kushner are focused on peace negotiations, including resolving the war in Ukraine. He emphasized the need to maintain ties with Moscow due to its second-largest nuclear arsenal.

Regarding Iran, Rubio said Russian assistance does not hinder US actions, noting Putin's attention is largely occupied by the war in Ukraine and its economic impact combined with sanctions.

German Finance Minister Klingbeil stated that he is irritated by the participation of Russian Finance Minister Siluanov in the G20 meeting. He urged the US to take a clear stance, arguing that Siluanov should not be treated as an ordinary guest.

🇩🇪 German General Calls for Faster Bundeswehr Build-Up: “The Enemy Will Not Wait”

Lieutenant General Christian Freuding, Inspector of the German Army, has called for an accelerated expansion of the Bundeswehr’s capabilities amid what he described as growing Russian threats.
“We need to switch to a different mode. We urgently need to increase our capacities,” Freuding told Landeszeitung für die Lüneburger Heide.

Germany must be able to deter a potential attack by demonstrating military strength at an early stage and establishing credible deterrence. “We need maximum speed,” he stressed.
Freuding also warned that Russia’s armed forces could regain the capability to launch an attack sooner than expected after the war in Ukraine ends.
