PAFI telah menjadi wadah profesi yang penting bagi asisten apoteker dan tenaga teknis di bidang farmasi.

         𑁬 ۫ ׅ 🕊️ ₊ ׁ   LXXIX ── Mulanya sejarah Hari Persatuan Farmasi Indonesia atau yang sering disebut PAFI dimulai pada tahun 1946. Tahun tersebut menjadi awal didirikannya sebuah organisasi yang menyatukan seluruh apoteker di Indonesia.

           𑁬 ۫ ׅ 🕊️ Di dalamnya terhimpun banyak tenaga kerja yang berprofesi di bidang farmasi. Peresmian Hari Persatuan Farmasi Indonesia bermula di Yogyakarta pada 13 Februari 1946.

           𑁬 ۫ ׅ 🕊️ Pada waktu itu, perumusan yang dihadiri para apoteker itu mulanya ingin membangun sebuah organisasi Persatuan Ahli Farmasi Indonesia alias PAFI. Faktor pendukung lainnya yang membuat para apoteker pantas menciptakan organisasi tersebut lantaran jasa para apoteker.

           𑁬 ۫ ׅ 🕊️ Tercatat banyak ahli farmasi malang-melintang di Indonesia sebelum kemerdekaan. Usaha-usaha dan kerja-kerja para apoteker membantu banyak aspek selama zaman kolonial.

           𑁬 ۫ ׅ 🕊️ Adanya Hari Persatuan Farmasi Indonesia menjadi medium sebagai peringatan terhadap jasa para ahli farmasi dalam meningkatkan taraf kesejahteraan umum, khususnya di bidang kesehatan masyarakat dan farmasi.

           𑁬 ۫ ׅ 🕊️ Peresmian Persatuan Ahli Farmasi Indonesia alias PAFI disahkan pada Hotel Merdeka. Dan tahukah detikers bahwa Persatuan Ahli Farmasi Indonesia menjadi organisasi tertua yang ada di tanah air.
