About Rejuvenate & Reset Sessions:
As city dwellers with responsibilities and dreams, we are doing so much in our day-to-day lives that it may feel like a breathless, busy blur. At times, we may catch ourselves being on autopilot, drifting through the days, not feeling or remembering much.
Let's put some regular checkpoints into our busy flow of life, to bring us back to intention when we have inevitably drifted from mindful presence.
This is an invitation to make space for yourself every month, to schedule intentional me-time, to recalibrate, re-energize and realign for the months ahead!
In these sessions, I'll be sharing the different techniques from yoga, mindfulness and meditation that have worked for me and I'm curious to understand how they make you feel, and if they help bring you deeper within yourself, as they did for me.

What to expect:
In each 1.5-hour session, we will bring you through a series of different bite-sized mindfulness techniques, arranged in a way that brings you deeper within yourself. Experience new or familiar practices with others to energize your own self-care practices at home!
💛 Body: Establish mind-body connection with gentle movements (~35 min)
💛 Breath: Reconnect with deep breathing (~10 min)
💛 Mind: Go deep within yourself through guided meditations (~20 min)
💛Reflect: Get to your authentic self through journal prompts for reflection
* Journal prompt worksheets will be shared with all participants

About us:
Hi there! I'm Shi Qi or SQ (IG: flowing.sq). My life had been a big busy blur in the working world for 5 years until I took a break in 2023.
Prior to 2023, I've gone through the motions of yoga and meditation, learning from Youtube videos and books. However, I've always felt like I was threading the surface and could not sustain them long enough to feel any effects.
It was only when I went through a Vipassana meditation retreat in Bangkok with an Austrian nun, got to try out a bunch of different mindfulness techniques, practised with community when I found what worked for me and experienced a significant transformation. Intrigued, I deepened my knowledge and practice further with my yoga teacher training, where I learnt and explored even more strategies that help lead my deeper into myself, which I picked to incorporate within my life.
I'm currently a yoga teacher on a journey to find ways to bring love, light and space to others in different ways.

Dear friends, this month, I will love to explore Stretch and Yoga Nidra together :)
✿ Stretch: We will start the session off with a series of gentle, feel-good stretches to release any tensions in our back and hips, that we tend to accumulate through our busy day-to-day lives. The idea of this is to get ourselves more in tune and connected with our bodies.
✿ Yoga Nidra: Once we become more receptive in our bodies and minds, I will guide you through a short segment of Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep. It is an active form of meditation where we are lying down on our mats comfortably. Through verbal guidance, we progress deeper into our own relaxation and awareness.
These practices have been really helpful in easing me into different states of consciousness when I first started on my journey inwards and I will love to share them with you :) Suitable for beginners to yoga or meditation!
