"Know thyself"

Is a Greek proverb, but also one of the 7 sacred maxims that are taught by the goddess Athena, and a reminder to seek deeper self awareness.
This maxim can be taken as a guide for self-reflection and a reminder to be aware of our own reactions, behaviours, choices and thoughts, in order to understand ourselves better.
It is only through self-reflection and introspection that we can develop our sense of self, our self-awareness, and understanding our own strengths, weakness, hopes, dreams and fears.
