Firstly we must speak the truth: this is a two-tiered society. This is medical apartheid. This is not a matter of being cooperative over a health concern.

Secondly, those who are vaccinated must refuse the privileges, stand with their brothers and sisters in Christ. The data show the FDA has gone from a drug approval rate of 38% in 2005 to 61% in 2018. In situations where a drug is aimed at a disease where few medication options already exist, 89% of new drug applications are approved on the first try. 21% of FDA approved medications ultimately had to be removed from the market or be given a black box warning. Essentially, if you’re taking a newly approved drug, the chances that this drug will be found to be extremely dangerous is 1 in 5. Only one in ten new drugs provide substantial benefit compared to existing, established drugs. The malfeasance of the FDA has been so bad that prescription drugs are the 4th leading cause of death. American patients also suffer from about 80 million mild side effects a year, such as aches and pains, digestive discomforts, sleepiness or mild dizziness.

When we priests speak out, we get shut down by fellow clergy and our hierarchs (who can suspend us or defrock us at a whim). Our hierarchs who want to speak out are threatened by their superiors and synods. Priests are in danger of losing their parishioners who have fallen for the official narrative. It should be a banner time for science and scientists. All we hear from official sources is praise. “Trust TheScience™!” vies with “Follow TheScience™!” and “Believe TheScience™!” as official slogans for the past two years. The ironic thing about our current situation? Even as we all seem to worshipfully refer to TheScience™, actual science is in graver danger than ever before. And most people haven’t even noticed.

That is only possible because the average person has not a clue what “science” actually is and what conditions are required for “science” to flourish. Science is not an accepted body of knowledge that no one is allowed to challenge on pain of censorship. Science is not simply anything people with credentials and lab coats say it is, even if they have the power to silence their critics. Actual science relies on quantifiable data, not mere opinion. Freedom of thought is essential to science. Science is supposed to be self-correcting through rational debate.

In the 1980s and ’90s, I was an Anglican who was devastated by the heresy and rapid downfall of the Episcopal Church (TEC) and the ill effect that it had on the whole Anglican Communion. I was pushed out of TEC because I would not sign on to their immoral agenda. It broke my heart, but I had to leave. Others may have the stomach for what they now see the hierarchy doing to the Greek Orthodox Church in this country. It may sound like an exaggeration, but like a combat veteran with post-traumatic stress disorder, I find myself flinching at the outrageous claims and misguided actions of these two high-profile hierarchs, Bartholomew and Elpidophoros. Having seen what is plain for all to see, I for one am suspicious of every action that they take. For me to go on in submission to such heretical and schismatic bishops would be an act of continued support when, in truth, I no longer support them. I don’t want to gamble with my eternal salvation.

Any good scientist knows that science is a cerebral activity that must follow the Scientific Method, unbiased by any personal belief system. Faith, on the other hand, is an activity of the heart. When science descends from the brain to the heart, it loses its dispassionate objectivity and becomes Scientism, an idol for worship. Similarly, when faith in God is in the brain, we are not faithful followers, for we are relying on our very limited cerebral understanding rather than our love for God to follow Him. In the early 1960’s, St. Luke of Crimea, a renowned scientist, attended a medical conference dressed as a bishop. A communist approached him saying, “Do you still believe in God? Don’t you know we sent someone into space, but he didn’t find evidence of God up there?” to which St. Luke replied, “And as a surgeon, I have observed many brain surgeries up close, but I have never found evidence of wisdom in there either.” The communist’s mistake was his tower of Babel mentality in assuming that the Creator would be found residing within His own creation. The boundaries of limited and error-prone science represent our very limited human understanding of life; whereas God’s unlimited wisdom, which always surpasses human understanding (including science) is found by Faith.
