These are the steps on how to create your Deriv Synthetic and forex account to trade volatilities and other forex markets.
1. Go to the deriv website 👉🏾 https://deriv.com/signup/
2. Create your account by entering your email and press create demo account.
3. You will be required to verify your email.
4. After verifying your email go back to the deriv website and log in.
5. After logging in you can choose whether you want to open a demo or real account.
6. After choosing real go to menu, you will see a list of options (DTrader, DBot, DMT5, etc)
7. Select DMT5 and add Synthetic account. On the synthetic account is where you will be trading Volatility 75 and other synthetic pairs. If you wish to trade currencies you will select Financial.
8. After adding or creating Synthetic account you will be provided with your account details (Broker, Server, Log in ID, Password). You will use the password you used to create your deriv account.
9. You have to download MetaTrader 5 platform on your App Store or Play store. This is the platform you will use to trade and analyze charts.
Note: These pairs are only available on MetaTrader 5 not MetaTrader 4.
10. Once you are done downloading the MT5 platform enter and go to settings and select “New account” then search broker “deriv limited”.
11. Enter the account details you were given in the deriv website for your Synthetic account (Server, Log in ID, Password) and sign in. You will then be done creating you MT5 synthetic account and start trading.

13. We recommend that you first create a synthetic demo account to start trading if you are a total beginner. You might as well have one to confirm that our signals are accurate.
