Union Cabinet Minister for Health Shri Mansukh Mandvia ji and Sh Subash Bansal, President Optical Association of India it was decided to Help ease of doing business and simplify the processes of licensing for the Opticians by amending the Contact Lens Notification 2022 in this regard
The Notification shall follow in a few days
Today in a meeting held between Hon. Union Cabinet Minister for Health Shri Mansukh Mandvia ji and Sh Subash Bansal, President Optical Association of India it was decided to Help ease of doing business and simplify the processes of licensing for the Opticians by amending the Contact Lens Notification 2022 in this regard

The journey over the decade has been a roller coaster in terms of profitability for the labs and their working capital needs. The labs in India work on very efficient cost mechanism at the operating level but there are major challenges in front of them for them to fund the growth.
