A Dockerfile that adds swak4Foam and PyFoam to regular OpenFOAM images:

Adds swak4Foam and PyFoam to Standard OpenFOAM docker containers. Maintained by the creator of those two packages.

The sources for these docker containers are on Bitbucket and the containers are on Docker Hub

Currently, the latest supported version is OpenFOAM v1912+ and OpenFOAM 7.0

This visualization, from a collaboration between #NASA and #Boeing about airframe noise prediction, shows the simulated air flow field around the nose landing gear of a Boeing 777, representing the complex unsteady flow generated by the gear components. The visualization is q-criterion colored by speed, from slower green to faster red air velocities. A strong vortex appears coming off the edge of the landing gear doors. Simulations run on NASA supercomputers at Ames allow researchers to better understand the changes in flow behavior that contribute to airframe noise.

🔹preCICE stands for Precise Code Interaction Coupling Environment. Its main component is a library that can be used by simulation programs to be coupled together in a partitioned way, enabling multi-physics simulations, such as fluid-structure interaction.

The #OpenFOAM Journal is an initiative from the OpenFOAM Governance, promoted by the Steering Committee members (OpenCFD Limited, Audi, ESI, FMGlobal, GM, Totalsim, TU Darmstadt, VW and Wikki), is devised and maintained by the Documentations Technical Committee and supported by all the remaining Technical Committees: HPC, Marine, Meshing, Multiphase, Nuclear, Numerics, Optimisation and Turbulence.

The OpenFOAM Journal aims to publish works related to OpenFOAM, with focus on the benefit for the OpenFOAM Community, and will be free to publish and open-access. Each publication will have an associated discussion forum, to increase the interaction between the readers and the authors, and the overall impact of the contributions. Moreover, authors are encouraged to provide supplementary information that will allow the #reproducibility of the published information!
