How can tokenized assets scale in Asia?
Infrastructure is one part of the equation. Distribution is another.
During a closed-door roundtable at the Institutional Summit, Duke Du, our Co-Founder and CTO, made the case that both must evolve together for tokenized assets to reach broader adoption across the region.
Thanks Coinfest and ICEx Group for the invitation!

"$1 trillion might sound quite big, but if you put it into context, the global fixed income market is about $130 trillion, and the global equities market is at around $120 trillion. By tokenizing just 1% of that, we will easily exceed $1 trillion."
But what would it take for tokenization to reach $1 trillion?
At Conviction 2026, our Founder and CEO Jeremy Ng put the $1 trillion opportunity into perspective and explained why OpenEden is focusing on tokenized fixed income like TBILL and HYBOND.

Tokenization’s move from proof of concept to institutional infrastructure was on the agenda at the BNY APAC Forum in Singapore.
Our Founder and CEO, Jeremy Ng, joined Marianna Lopert-Schaye from BNY, Derek Neo from SGX Group, and Steven Hu from OCBC, to discuss that transition before an audience of leading financial institutions. As the only crypto-native company invited to speak at the forum, OpenEden brought the issuer perspective, drawing on experience bringing institutional investment products on-chain.
Our experience spans bringing US Treasuries on-chain through TBILL, with BNY Investments serving as investment manager and primary custodian for the underlying assets, and launching the first tokenized BNY bond fund through HYBOND, which offers on-chain exposure to the BNY Mellon Global Short-Dated High Yield Bond Fund.
Thank you to BNY for the invitation, and we look forward to continuing to advance institutional tokenization together.

HYBOND, the first tokenized BNY bond fund, has integrated RedStone’s NAV oracle on BNB Chain.
RedStone's oracle pulls HYBOND’s underlying fund’s disclosed NAV from BNY, independently authenticates the source, and publishes signed updates on-chain.
This gives protocols trusted, verifiable pricing data to integrate HYBOND into lending and borrowing markets, risk-tranching protocols, and other DeFi applications, expanding how professionally managed bond exposure can be used on-chain.
Verified valuation is one part of that infrastructure. Settlement is next: a planned integration with RedStone's Settle will support T+0 settlement of HYBOND liquidations and redemptions.
