Today I'll deploy new zBLD backend release in to production enviorment.

Major updates:

- Adding Rsyslog log forwarder
- Blocking log enricher - additional (domain category) into to rsyslog
- Guarantee DNS response mechanisms
- Reduce some log messages
- Update local log rotation mechanisms
- Fix global DNS queries counter for Prometheus exporter exporter

Ipact:
- There won't be an impact, but if you get a timeout today, it should be as short as possible

Слышу много хороших отзывов от людей о новом Yandex облаке в Казахстане 🇰🇿. И вот подкопив немного денег и получив небольшой депозит от Яндекса я решил попробовать облако.

С сегодняшнего дня на территории Караганды появился новый сервер, который войдет общую экосистему OpenBLD.net ближайшие сутки.

Очень надеюсь, что этот шаг поможет улучшить работу сервиса, ускорить работу DoH и DoT клиентов столицы Казахстанского региона и Центрального Казахстана в целом.

Heya! Today I added new experimental architecture feature in to OpenBLD.net ecosystem:

- Geo distribution: Asia, Europe
- Lazy preloading cached elements

OpenBLD daemons separate incoming traffic which different rules for different domain names and requests to few pools, one is caching cluster.

What does it give - In some cases today, productivity gains can range from 30% to 80% percent.

📢 OpenBLD.net Canary 🐦 Release - Major Speedup Changes

Good time, everyone.

I've been recently running updates on OpenBLD servers, furthermore the OpenBLD server is now faster for you to enjoy 😊

Over the last few weeks, I've changed the code so that the service is now split into a primary and secondary parts.

Major changes

- Added soreUsePort functionality
- Added multipliers for service workers
- Added "Request Rate Limiter" functionality
- Added the ability to load permanent lists and block lists on a separate schedule
- Added the ability to cache negative responses 🚀
- Added the ability to use a time window to resolve DNS requests

Aaaand - Reduced the binary file size of the OpnenBLD daemon by 10% 💪

This release was granularly deployed to the ecosystem, now this weekend it will go to the ecosystem as a full package.

Недавно узнал о 3hcloud.kz. Пошел, попробовал и был приятно удивлен:

- скоростью (коннективити и инстансы - супер)

После нескольких недель тестирования, твердо могу заявить - совместимость с OpenBLD.net присутствует.

A few weeks ago I announced Canary release, now I decided switch to "in-touch" deployment stages.

To start with, I'm using my "Flex App Additions Methodology" in my projects. Often some bugs have to be fixed quickly, we all want these bugs to be fixed quickly..)

My "in-touch" release model includes:

1. Trunk-based development model
2. Rolling release
3. Canary > Production deployment

This model can includes unnotified maintenance window ~3 minutes or 3 iteration maximum in a day, this does not mean that the service will be unavailable at this time, you just need to keep in mind that if suddenly something goes wrong for you, you immediately let me know about it, that's all)
