If you want to upgrade during the promotion period, you will not pay the normal rate (i.e the difference between the higher package and the lower package).
For example,if you have a VIP2 account (which costs 50 dollars for registration) and you want to switch to VIP3 (100 dollars for registration). The difference is 100-50 dollars= 50 dollars to upgrade. So you need a total of 50 dollars to switch to VIP3.
But since CHY mall launched the promotion for the first period (which is 50% off the amount of upgrade), instead of paying 50 dollars for upgrade,you will instead pay 25 dollars (50% × 50 = 25). So during this first period,you pay 25 dollars more to switch from VIP2 to VIP3.
