Park Ji-hoon plays Kang Sung-jae, a newly transferred private and cook assigned to the Gangrim outpost. Yoon Kyung-ho takes on the role of Sergeant Park Jae-young, who serves in the 4th Company where Kang Sung-jae is stationed. Han Dong-hee portrays Lieutenant Cho Ye-rin, the commanding officer of the Gangrim outpost.
Lee Hong-nae transforms into Sergeant Yoon Dong-hyun, the senior cook at the base.
