⚡️ Room Booking is Up! ⚡️

First, let's explain the reason the service wasn't working. Previously, our room booking system worked through integration with My University. However, a few days ago, legacy My University stopped working, and it's unknown when it will be restored. So, we decided to urgently migrate to working directly with Outlook to eliminate our dependence on My University. This also improved the service's reliability — now the system waits for Outlook to approve the booking. Additionally, we don't store any booking info on our side — Outlook is the only source of bookings.

Although some university services are still temporarily unavailable, we are resuming our room booking service. You can now use room booking just like before!

We’re already working on the next round of improvements: in the near future, we plan to add new features such as booking cancellation and editing, adding participants, booking for staff, booking Room 309A and daytime classroom access via approved lists. We’re also focused on improving overall stability and making bookings faster, since creating or deleting a booking can currently take up to 5 seconds.

🚧 The project is temporarily closed for improvements 🚧

That was an excellent stress test. Thanks to everyone who participated.

We’re heading back to continue battling Outlook. Stay tuned!🤙

😎 Thanks everyone who was with us last Friday. And we're sharing with you a presentation from the Introduction.

At the event, we once again highlighted what our club does, told you about the history of the club, and of course, had a great time listening to live music from the "гранж девчонки".

Some important notes:
🔜 In the near future, we plan to launch two new services: the Events section on InNoHassle and an Academic tutorship bot

🔑 Room Booking is available 🔑

We have finally completed the full migration to Outlook. What does this mean? Now we are no longer dependent on MyUniversity, which means that the service has become more stable and reliable. However, sometimes an error may occur, most probably Outlook is down. For our part, we have done our best.

🎁 Since the last post, there have been many new features:

- We have updated the rules for booking rooms
- We have added the ability to edit appointments. Now you can change the name and time of your appointments. Did you finish earlier? You can easily mark it by clicking "finish now"
- You can now see the Telegram and email address of the person who created the reservation
- Booking of classrooms with red access has become available for employees

Our friends made a cool video advertisement for prof Burmyakov's lecture. We also love these classes ✨

As a nice bonus, lecture rooms 460 and 461 are now also available for student bookings in the evenings🫰
