📌 Title: Re-Envisioning the Abay River Bridge to Enhance Human–Nature Connectivity: The Case of Bahir Dar City, Ethiopia
Inspired by the concept "Ribbons of Life – A Living Bridge," this project transforms the Abay River Bridge from a transportation corridor into a vibrant ecological and public destination. By reimagining the underutilized spaces beneath the bridge as a multifunctional biophilic park, the design strengthens the connection between people, nature, and the urban environment while promoting recreation, sustainability, and community life.
👏 Congratulations to Rehima Ahmed on this well-deserved achievement and for delivering an inspiring vision for the future of Bahir Dar.
