Introducing THE ETHIOPIC MICROGRAPHICS TREND
Ethiopia has many different cultures. Within these cultures, we have unique clothing, architecture, language, music, and so much more. I was trying to use some of the micro-graphic elements I saw on Pinterest, but why do that when there is a ton of inspiration sitting and waiting for us right here? Think of your mother’s kemis tilet, your brother’s korki game,🌚 our country’s architecture, and so many other endless things.
I designed some of the ideas from my mind in the way I see my country. You might be a designer too, so why don’t we make this a trend? A trend that builds a collection of MICRO-DETAILS, making any design look aesthetic and ETHIOPIC. Not only that, but this is also a creative and smart way to display formal elements.
I’ll be creating more on this, and if you’re a designer, speak through your design and let’s make this universal gang

Current status: me vs. my unfinished logo, Mexican standoff, nobody's drawing first. 🔫
What you're seeing is the survivor. You have no idea how many mistakes and questionable sketches didn't make it out of that battle alive. this one earned its scars.
Two more are waiting their turn the line for my attention is longer than my patience. New stuff cooking regardless will post if approved, will probably post anyway🙂

we're currently in "trust the process" mode, which is design-speak for "I have no idea if this is good yet."

Meanwhile, I hopped straight onto the next chaos JOHN STACK is going through a full rebrand after changing his name, and yours truly got the honor of designing it. i just sent over a few concept logos and he actually likes them, which honestly shocked us both. 😅

yesterday i said JOHN STACK was going through a rebrand and yours truly got the honor of designing it.
today i delivered.
here's the concept:
the mark is built from three things
→ < > source code brackets
→ J for John
→ S for Stack
the J and S interlock to form one fluid mark. the circle around it indicates security which ties directly into his cybersecurity content.
no circuits. no shields. no locks. just a clean, geometric mark that works at any size on any platform.
Code. Create. Secure. Grow.
