The truth is: nothing new has been fun to me.
It’s not even nostalgia, it’s just how it is. I have an old 2005 Corolla and I wouldn’t trade it for a new one… maybe for a 2012 Corolla. I wouldn’t swap my old casio for an Apple watch. I wouldn’t trade my old ThinkPad for a MacBook. Everything new doesn’t really feel new at all — it just feels more expensive and less reliable. The only “new” thing I’d actually want to buy is an iphone 16, because my iphone 13 battery kinda sucks.

Today is the birthday of the person I consider my best friend, Luke. or as you all may know him, @bbbonzai . I’ve known him since he was 16; today he’s already past 22.
