Today I'm going to watch the new Aku no Hana live-action. I don't expect much from Ano.. I think she's an awful actress and singer. From what I've seen so far, she'll be playing Nakamura not as a normal girl, but as a weird girl who stands out. I think that's a major misunderstanding of what Aku no Hana is about. It's about ordinary people who don't stand out, but have something extraordinary growing inside them.

I spent about an hour trying to fix an issue where Kuchiki's face was getting cut off on the game's main starting screen. As usual, I assumed it was some codec problem on Linux. After an hour, I finally decided to check other people's playthroughs, and then I realized that's just how the game actually looks 😐

The idea that “the more you work, the richer you become” is a complete lie. A country's wealth depends on many other factors besides just working hard. My company works directly with Western European companies, and dealing with them is extremely difficult because they’re always on holiday or taking breaks. I swear, it feels like they take almost three hours of breaks a day in europe. And not to mention that they often finish their workload in the middle of the day and then go home.

Italians, Germans, and people from other first-world countries just don’t seem to work that much at all!

The truth is: nothing new has been fun to me.
It’s not even nostalgia, it’s just how it is. I have an old 2005 Corolla and I wouldn’t trade it for a new one… maybe for a 2012 Corolla. I wouldn’t swap my old casio for an Apple watch. I wouldn’t trade my old ThinkPad for a MacBook. Everything new doesn’t really feel new at all — it just feels more expensive and less reliable. The only “new” thing I’d actually want to buy is an iphone 16, because my iphone 13 battery kinda sucks.
