I'm such a racist and I hate myself for that. The truth is that I would never date a black person, and it hurts me — I don't like to be this way... but I can't stand the thought of having black kids... I would like to be more woke...

I’m not even joking. I’ve already had such kind and caring girls who wanted something with me, and the only reason I turned them down was… their color. I hate myself for that. Am I really unable to like someone just because of their skin color? This is ridiculous. So if I had a white girl—whom I loved deeply— would I leave her if, for some unfortunate reason, she became black? Does my love extend only to her skin color? This is deplorable. I hate myself for that.

Life seems more like a pleasant fairy tale when you’re a woman. If you were a woman, you would be much more impressed by poetry — for centuries, poetry has been used romantically to allure women. If you were a woman, you would idealize your crush in so many ways... he would be a prince in your idealized world. They also can’t understand people, a woman’s constant vision is an idealized version of someone, not who that person truly is. People can be villains, like politicians they dislike, and people can be princes, like those they eagerly idealize. Amélie Poulain is the true representation of women: walking around, idealizing everything and turning her reality into truth for everyone. It’s odd when I see men fitting women’s idealized versions of them — trying to look as attractive as they are imagined to be, being performative, per se.

Tiresome?

Sir Seal
We should shizopost more, is that what you saying?
I’m just saying that idealizing is a nice cope.

Imagine if we acted like women in this specific aspect. We woke up one day and started feeling more sensitive to simple poetry and began defining our princesses and our villains.

Do you think girls who idealize kpop singers as their personal princes are sad people—even if it’s corny?

There was this girl who had just broken up with her boyfriend at the time. She had something for me. While we were talking, it went like this:

“So… why did you break up with him?”
“Oh, because he was a bad person. He didn’t change at all, and he was really a bad person”
“How so?”
“He didn’t want anything for his future, and he wasn’t pursuing anything. It became frustrating, and there were other personal things he said to me…”

At this point, I already knew she had feelings for me, and then I said:
“But he’s not as lazy as I am. He works, right? You told me he was working all day and had a strict schedule just to go out with you. That’s quite impressive, you know? I don’t work at all, and I don’t do anything worthwhile with my day. He’s actually quite admirable for working all day and still making time to take you out”

And then she said:
“No… believe me, you’re way better than him. You’re always focused, studying and reading. You’re very mature, and I wish he were more like that too”

The guy was, in fact… better than me. But now I was the idealized prince. He was someone who could provide something for her—even so, she broke up with him and was now idealizing me as a profound and cool person. She could easily go on living normally just by idealizing that her ex had been a bad person all along and that I was the new prince. Men are not capable of coping like that.
