I remember this part of Subahibi where Mamiya shows Tachibana his hideout. I don't remember which chapter it was, but I'm sure it was in the second or third chapter. At first, he is uncertain whether he should show his hideout to her because of his past experiences with women mocking him, but eventually, he decides to show it. At first, she acts impressed, but when you see her perspective, you realize that she actually found everything there dull—she also found him dull. For some reason, this felt like a personal attack to me.
