so, yesterday I was on my way home—riding the bus, you know—when a guy started talking to me. He first complimented me and said my clothes were nice, which was cool. Then he kept talking and talking, and I couldn't help but think, "whoa, he's actually weird. His expressions are weird, his posture is weird... but he knows how to talk? He's really keeping me engaged with interesting questions... how is he even doing that?" I kept thinking about it until he got off the bus. We talked for about 20 minutes, and while I often had nothing to say, he always made sure to bring up new topics. I really envy that guy—he's good at social interactions. I need to be more like him...

and I hardly believe he truly thought highly of my way of dressing because he himself was not well-dressed—not even trying to be—which suggests that he doesn’t actually care about his style. I think he noticed how much effort I put into dressing well, so he complimented it. He was so precise in this aspect... He found something I value and used it to gain a bit of my trust. How awesome this guy actually was... Man, he could really teach me a thing or two about social interaction...
