It’s like the ports on your PC that you need to open to play a co-op game! Just make sure to check if they’re willing to open their ports to you. If they aren’t, don’t waste your time trying to make them your friend, nor deceive yourself by thinking, "If they get to know me better, they’ll surely find me interesting." That doesn’t happen—their interest in you is already evident in the first conversation.
