I feel like a shadow of my own people. They built so many churches, the Lusitanian people were better at navigation than the Spanish, and we conquered the Americas faster than anyone. Brazil is bigger because we were able to penetrate the Amazon forest with ease, while the Spaniards couldn’t. My people also built countless crosses all over the world—there’s a good chance that if you go on a boat trip, you’ll see a cross in the middle of some remote island.

Once, I entered an old church in my country and felt such joy—I wanted to build great things like that. But to this day, I feel completely lost. I don’t know how I can accomplish great things like my people did in the past.

And why is our generation so individualistic? Why are you guys like this? Why did you throw away the opportunity to build great ships, to conquer the world with your friends, to create grand constructions? Why did you trade all that glory for a tiny apartment and a shitty car that you can call "yours," only to shut yourself off from everyone else?

Why have we grown into pathetic, individualistic people who can’t achieve great things because we’re too damn busy with our selfish goals—goals that bring us less than what we could have if we came together to build something greater?

WHY DID YOU BUY INTO THE LIBERAL WAY OF LIVING?

Oko Palace's Tip of the Day: If she’s not replying to you and keeps saying she’s too busy, it’s 100% a lie—she’s just not interested in you. Remember, Elon Musk has time to tweet all day while managing countless things. That girl isn’t even 10% as busy as he is, yet she claims she doesn’t have time? fuck~~ off~~

1. Josee, the Tiger and the Fish
This film was ass, and it was recommended by Faith, so I'm publicly calling out how bad her taste in romance is. The movie kept trying to squeeze emotions out of you with boring and forced sad occurrences, like people being utterly mean for no reason or unnecessary deaths.

Let's not even talk about how hollow and simplistic the characters are. The main girl started as a generic tsundere and then fell openly in love way too quickly just because the protagonist showed interest in some boring drawings of hers! This is so simplistic that, in my view, it undermines her as a person. If building relationships were that easy, humans would be boring!

I also hated the sad ass song—so pretentious, trying way too hard to force sadness onto the audience.

2. Look Back
I'm one of the biggest Fujimoto glazers, so I have enjoyed it. It's not as good as "Goodbye, Eri", but it has broader appeal, so I understand why it was adapted. I have nothing more to say, really - it's a good story. Fujimoto has something to say, and it reflects in his works.
