I will be doing this to you Liz chan

and I'm 1,88cm tall... for me you're small enough

We have to admit that SHAFT is probably the most talented Japanese studio out there. This sequence is incredibly pleasing to the eyes, extremely well-animated, and full of originality.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING

The only mecha I can bear to watch is The Big O

Oh, I like Evangelion—or at least I used to. I remember being extremely hyped to see the last Eva movie when I was around 15. Year after year, I kept discussing and speculating in forums about when Anno would finally release the last Rebuild movie… and then, out of nowhere, he released it when I was already 20. I still haven’t watched it to this day because the endless waiting exhausted me to the point that I simply lost interest...

You know when you order something at a restaurant, and the waiter takes too long to bring the food… so you start wondering if maybe he didn’t hear you or just forgot? Then, you eventually stop thinking about it and start talking to the person next to you—until the waiter finally brings the food, and you’re like “???” while the other person is also like “???”

1,88 is not that tall...

Bro, they have:

Kino no Tabi
Madoka Magica
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
Monogatari
Hidamari Sketch

This is how I imagine my channel to be. I feel such joy when I see actual otakus joining, not just underage kids who enjoy those cringe edits of old anime with hauntologic songs. I really want to be around people who still find joy in Japanese animation—and I'm not talking about those expensive anime that catch everyone's attention, like Your Name.

Anime isn’t dead. Of course, the majority of new releases are boring, repetitive, or purely commercial, but anon, at least 100 anime come out every year! (Source)

With so many anime being released annually, there will always be something that appeals to us—only to us in this channel. We still have the opportunity to be otakus without the majority of people annoying us with their repetitive seinenslop like Attack on Titan. We can still be otakus and truly be alone—alone, but only with our own kind. It's not about nostalgia, we can craft new otaku memories from new animes!
