Man, I really feel you. I once worked in customer service, dealing with people face to face. That experience somehow traumatized me—I developed a particular disgust for 40yo women. They are the most pathetic beings on earth; they love to humiliate people who are simply doing their jobs. If you give even a little bit of power to those kinds of people, they will use it to humiliate you. And I’m not even talking about all the drunks, the degenerates, the disgusting jokes, the stupid invites, and the sheer dumbness of the clients.

I constantly see stupid people talking as if working is beneficial for your health and necessary to fit in as a normal person. It’s not. The vast majority of jobs nowadays are nothing but slavery and humiliation. Being humiliated doesn’t make you more normal—only more miserable. I’m always praising those who are NEETs and can sustain themselves that way. Don’t feel like you’re falling behind others—you’re not.
Working is only meaningful when you’re actually contributing something valuable to humankind, like being a farmer or protecting others as a police officer—those jobs truly dignify you. But working for a company that produces nothing worthwhile, spending all day on Excel, and being humiliated by strangers who aren’t even your family… that’s nothing to be proud of.
