There is no reason for anyone to choose Russian over English. You can love Russian out of patriotism, but it’s undeniable how versatile and easy the modern English language is. English is objectively one of the best languages in the world because it accomplishes its purpose simply and effectively: facilitating communication between humans without requiring a great deal of complexity for self expression.

And you know I’m being real because if you had to write an essay for an exam, both you and I know that even if you were a native Russian speaker, you would make a lot of grammatical mistakes because of how complex and difficult your own language is. My native language is Portuguese, and I also struggle with it. I openly admit that my essays in Portuguese aren’t the best either. Meanwhile, in English, it’s much simpler to avoid grammatical mistakes
