My biggest desire in life is to reach people I normally wouldn’t be able to reach. There are people everywhere, and access to them is relatively easy. But somewhere in a sparsely populated place, like China or even Central America, there is someone incredibly interesting, hidden away in their own room—a small room in the back of a cluster of houses, someplace difficult to access.

I’ve also spent my life living in places that were hard to reach, where no one could ever find me. And I believe that somewhere out there, someone was looking for a person like me.

Maybe you’re one of those people, living in a small, remote town that I normally wouldn’t be able to reach. At the very least, I can reach you here, on the internet.

How can people not speak at least two languages? This is utterly ridiculous. I’m not asking for much—just two languages. Everyone studies more than one language in school, yet there are still lazy people who can’t be bothered to learn and practice it.

There are people who don’t even know fucking English, the easiest language to learn in the fucking world. There are only 12 verb tenses in English, my dude, they don’t even use gender for nouns. There are no complex grammatical rules either. There’s nothing stopping people from learning it except laziness.

Ok you don’t need to know to speak it properly because you don’t have means to practice your speaking… but at least read and write it wtf

There is no reason for anyone to choose Russian over English. You can love Russian out of patriotism, but it’s undeniable how versatile and easy the modern English language is. English is objectively one of the best languages in the world because it accomplishes its purpose simply and effectively: facilitating communication between humans without requiring a great deal of complexity for self expression.

And you know I’m being real because if you had to write an essay for an exam, both you and I know that even if you were a native Russian speaker, you would make a lot of grammatical mistakes because of how complex and difficult your own language is. My native language is Portuguese, and I also struggle with it. I openly admit that my essays in Portuguese aren’t the best either. Meanwhile, in English, it’s much simpler to avoid grammatical mistakes
