I'm going to whine about it. While not a mental illness by itself, I have a diagnosed thanatophobia - an intense, persistent, and irrational fear of dying. While almost all people fear death, that doesn't make it into a phobia - the fear needs to be disruptive…
mhm... I never feared death.
I can put myself in pretty dangerous situations without giving a frick... so I can't really sympathize...
sometimes I feel afraid to die before confessing... I guess this is my biggest fear on death. But dying? If I die in properly spiritual state, I can be in heaven so... that's awesome! maybe being religious would fix you?
idk, I really can't sympathize... maybe that's not enough for you

it's really hard to believe that people are living other realities. I thought we had just one reality for a long time. It's just like playing the same game but with different MODs loaded locally, you can't really see the visual differences within their games because the MODs are not in the server but in their pc.

Every time I talk to a girl and the conversation gets deeper, it eventually turns into a discussion about some "past trauma."
Most of the time, it's about their parents.
Honestly, I find it exhausting. There is no such thing as a perfect family. People compare their parents to idealized versions from movies and then treat every imperfection as a life-defining trauma. But parents are people, and people have flaws. Family isn't a fairy tale, it's just a group of imperfect people trying to get through life together.
When someone says their entire personality was shaped by not receiving exactly the love they wanted from their parents, it often feels exaggerated to me. Everyone has problems. I don't understand why so many people today make ordinary family conflicts the center of their identity.
