so, when I first started learning japanese, I got advice by this big ass website about AJATT (which is a solid method) on how to learn japanese. The AJATT is a really efficient method, but the means that website taught me it, weren't. They convinced me that learning kanji individually is a waste of time and effort, when you should be learning sentences only. Then I got frustrated by never remembering those sentences and eventually... I dropped it. Some weeks ago I got back to study japanese, with more open mindset, and I started learning kanji individually as well, without rush — I'm not rushing to learn it anymore, I just want to be consistent this time. And the results are way less frustrating than my first time. I'm doing good and being able to memorize the sentences alongside the kanji.
