When a central bank inflates the currency they print money and give it out to their inner circle. Those people / institutions have access to more money early on. Think of throwing a stone into the middle of a lake. The stone makes the water level rise and creates a ripple. Those closest to the middle feel the water rise earlier. By the time the ripple propagates outward to the working poors, another stone has been thrown in the pond and another ripple has benefited those closest to the center.
On the other hand when it's time to deflate the currency, your wages will fall but you'll still owe old money.
We cannot win when money is rising and we certainly don't win when it falls. Heads I win, tails you lose.
This is not a financial forum. I bring all of this up today in the context of you better start prepping. Nothing motivates people in to compliance like being hungry.

Extending a little DIY pole barn. This was an old pig barn years ago and all that was left was the cement slab. Obviously we didnt have any need of rebuilding a pig enclosure since we raise ours differently on pasture. So the cement was repurposed as a pole barn for lumber. Now were working on adding to it to double the size.

Can anyone help me ID these connectors? The tractor is kubota but the dealer installed a WR Long articulated bucket years ago when it was new. They seem to have adapted the JIC connectors to american??? the flats on the nuts up by the valve are 11/16 if that helps.
I'm swapping the loader bucket to a skid steer plate and need ot plug these lines for a few days until I can get the hoses cut and 1/2" flat face connectors on the hoses.

Socialism never works.... My bro in law and sister visited yesterday. They recently sold a condo and are looking at selling their current house to move up here and build new. He told me the HOA chair where they had teh condo stole just under a million from the HOA... so the HOA assessed every home $35,000 to make up the shortfall. If you don't pay this, they will put a lien on your house and force the sale (per Georgia law). Additionally the HOA didn't have the money to cover painting the houses or roofing because the costs went up since the HOA was formed and they never adjusted their budgeted numbers. But hey, the place has a nice pool and a nice boat dock on the river. The hoa fees are $550 a month in addition to that one time $35k asessment and the roof and painting.
Damned if I understand why people live under such a system.

Some days I'm such a dumb ass.... I spoke with a local german guy here this morning and wished him "froliche weinachten".... and he responded that I'm 12 hours too late. My wheels start turning.... NACHT is night... Jesus born in the evening... DOH!!!! Christmas is the church having a mass about Christ. So I explained this to my wife... she said "those damn Germans are so precise in their language". yes they are.
