Today, under threat of rain, we got the last verticals for the end walls concreted in and plumb. Supposed to rain tomorrow. But the green house is now to the point that one person can complete most remaining tasks. I'll have to frame out the end walls. We opted for steel end walls and corrugated poly carb panels. They offer wood endwalls, but I think that's a false economy. They supply the brackets and I gotta source the 2x4's locally. Given the price of lumber and the idea that I'd have to take it apart and redo in the future wasn't worth it to me. Buy once and Cry once.
Once the end walls are framed out, I'll have to dig a 6" deep trench across the end for the poly carb panels to sit in... then we wil back fill with dirt as a rodent barrier.

How to calculate cubic yards of concrete for a job. Length (ft) x Width (ft) x depth (inches) / 300.
40ft x 40ft x 4in = 6400/300 = 21 1/3 yards.
A concrete truck holds 10 yards.

πΈ Independence Day, 1941
84 years ago, Independence Day was celebrated in somewhat different circumstances.
Street fighting on Independence Day in -34 degree frost in KarhumΓ€ki, Eastern Karelia, on December 6, 1941.
A high price has been paid for Finland's independence. We must cherish and protect this heritage that has been left to us. Happy Independence Day!

A sucker born every minute. This family got Solar panels for $59000. When the system didn't make the power the company promised, another company came along and offered to install more panels for an additional $38000. Now they are in hock for more than $100k and still have a power bill. Take a good look at their yard and tell me if you know why their system isnt working well.
