❔ Is this a speaking club?

🟢Not exactly. While speaking clubs often have set topics and a strict format, our international meetings are more relaxed. We chat about anything, in pairs or groups. The host ensures everything runs smoothly but usually doesn't need to guide the conversations much.

❔ Do we play any games there?

🟢Sometimes! It depends on the mood and interest of the group. You’re always welcome to bring a board game you like—others might be interested in playing too.

❔ It's my first time, and I will come alone. Is it okay?

🟢Totally okay—in fact, that's exactly what these events are for. The atmosphere is very friendly. As soon as you join, you’ll become part of the conversation and the community.

❔ I can’t make it at 20:00. Is it okay if I come a bit late?

🟢Of course! Feel free to join anytime and leave whenever you need to. No pressure.

❔ I'm worried my English isn't good enough. What level is needed?

🟢We welcome all levels—locals, foreigners, and native speakers. A B1 or B2 level is generally good for enjoying conversations with most people, but don't let that stop you from joining!

❔ Do we only speak English there?

🟢We encourage English, but it's fine to speak other languages if everyone in the conversation is comfortable with it. For example, if you and another guest both speak Spanish, feel free to chat in Spanish!

❔Are there any hidden costs?

No hidden costs at all. Entry is free, and you only pay for what you order. The prices at the bar are very affordable—they even have offers like "buy 2 beers/ciders, get 1 free." We specifically choose venues that are welcoming to everyone, including students. The only rule is that you do need to order something from the bar while you're there.
