So it’s been ten years since I started writing these essays. I don’t know how many I’ve written at this point, probably over two hundred. I’m not going to count. I started out publishing them on my blog, Consent Factory, and submitting them to CounterPunchback in 2016.

Oh Mr. Carney, Mr. Carney, how I have tried with you. And there you were speaking at the European Union with hair like the arse end of a chicken in a windstorm… no, that’s just a quaint saying here in Quebec, I’d say it was more like a Rhodesian string-tailed grouse in a light breeze.
Did we look in the mirror at all? Certainly they’ve managed to make cowboy hats to fit you, perhaps that would have been better?

Surface Thinking
People don’t care because they don’t know. Simple as that. I know I’ve been through this a million times, but I just don’t think I’ve nailed it. Maybe now. It’s nuance, still, but it’s something more than I have written about before.
