So, I gave a little speech about art, and war. The Internationale Agentur für Freiheit, a Berlin art and cultural association, asked me to do that to open their exhibition, Make Art Not War. I couldn’t turn them down.

There is a lusty bird that sings at dusk outside my window high in the cedar tree. I’ve never seen him but he warbles wildly and poignantly as if to say for the night, “come live with me and be my love.” He is a lonely child of the wilderness spreading his heart to the dying wind knowing the sun is going down and he will be alone watching the predators on the ground, waiting for daybreak.

On the nights I do not hear his mournful cry I am happy thinking of him with another cuddled in branches somewhere…...

Quick Take…UK Local Elections Set the Stage for “Change” of Government

The UK ran local and mayoral elections today, and surprise surprise so far it is a big win for Labour.

At the time of writing, the “opposition” has won 3 of the 4 called mayoral elections and wrested control of 8 councils from the Conservatives. The Tories have apparently lost almost 300 council seats so far. This to go along with Labour’s win in the Blackpool South by-election, a seat they haven’t held for decades.

All this is laying the groundwork for the general election coming later this year, one the Tories are expected to lose.

AstraZeneca just pulled their Covid jab….why?

British-Swedish pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca is halting production and supply of their Covid19 “vaccine”. The news was announced yesterday, following the European Medicines Agency declaration that the shot wouldno longer be cleared for use.

The official story right now is that it has been superseded by “updated” vaccines.

In its statement, AZ said:

“As multiple, variant Covid-19 vaccines have since been developed there is a surplus of available updated vaccines […] According to independent estimates, over 6.5 million lives were saved in the first year of use alone and over 3bn doses were supplied globally.”
