Gylen Castle, Argyll and Bute, Scotland. Built in 1582 by Clan MacDougall.
Broch of Mousa, Shetland Islands, Scotland.

A remarkably well preserved tower dating all the way back to the Iron Age. Estimated to be ~2,000 years old.
Broch of Gurness, Mainland Orkney, Scotland. Generally agreed that it was built between 200BC and 100BC. The entire settlement was circled by outer defences comprising of a band of three ramparts and three ditches.
Colour word boundaries are not the same in all Gaelic languages, let alone all celtic languages!
What they have in common is not lining up neatly with english, and having more nuance. Often they'll be combined with adjectives such as shining, light, dark, speckled, etc, as compound words, or with one another, to describe subtle differences.
