Harry Kane thanks Tottenham Hotspur during his Ballon d’Or acceptance speech!
“I want to say thank you to Tottenham Hotspur as well. I wouldn’t be where I am today without Tottenham, for sure.”
“I was there from 11 years old. All the guidance, all the coaches, you allowed me to live my dream.”
“For sure, without all those moments together, all the ups and downs along the way of that journey, it’s never been to this moment here today.”
“I just want to say thank you to Tottenham Hotspur.”

🇦🇷🕊️ The entire global football community is wrapping its arms around Lionel Scaloni after the passing of his mother, Eulalia, at the age of 74 following a long illness.
Throughout his tenure with the Argentine national team, Scaloni frequently expressed his deep love and admiration for his mother in press conferences. Her memory will forever be linked to one of the most iconic moments of his career: right after winning his very first title, the 2021 Copa América against Brazil at the Maracanã, when he famously choked back tears to say:
"I want to dedicate this to my mum, who had a pretty serious problem a few days ago and is fighting hard."
Our deepest condolences and strength go out to Lionel Scaloni and his entire family during this difficult time. Descansa en paz, "Lali". 🙏🖤

Samir Nasri has expressed the opinion that Lamine Yamal was the more deserving recipient of the 2026 Ballon d’Or compared to Harry Kane.
Nasri stated, “I do not agree with Harry Kane winning the Ballon d’Or. He is not even the best player in the Bundesliga; that distinction belongs to Olise. Furthermore, he was not the best player for England during the World Cup. What are we judging this on? Just the goals he has scored? He wins a league in which he is practically playing on his own. It is comparable to Ferran Torres scoring 50 goals for PSG, winning Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France, and subsequently being awarded the Ballon d’Or. I would not have awarded the prize to Kane. It should have been Yamal.”
