🔷 گاهی در فارسی برای تاکید حرف خود یا خواستن نظر شنونده، در آخر جملات (مگه نه، مگه اینطور نیست، هان) به کار میبریم. که برای ترجمه آنها به یکی از دو روش زیر عمل میشود:

۱. اگر جمله ما مثبت باشد، فعل کمکی و not را بصورت "سوالی منفی مخفف شده" در آخر جمله قرار میدهیم.

🔶 We must obey the regulations. Mustn't we?
🔶 ما باید از مقررات پیروی کنیم. مگه نه؟
🔶 He can trust us. Can't he?
🔶 او میتونه به ما اعتماد کنه. اینطور نیست؟
🔶 I believed what you said. Didn't I?
🔶 من چیزی که گفتی رو باور کردم. نکردم؟
۲. در صورتی که جمله منفی باشد، فعل کمکی و فاعل را بصورت "سوالی مثبت" در انتهای جمله بکار میبریم.
🔷 She isn't afraid of the dog, Is she?
🔷 از سگ که نمیترسه، هان؟

🔷 They didn't accuse him of stealing, Did they?
🔷 بهش تهمت دزدی که نزدند، درسته؟
🔷 You don't like to be called stupid. Do you?
🔷 تو که دوست نداری بهت بگن خنگ، داری؟

هر کدام از این هفت کلمه ربط معنای خاصی را به جمله می‌دهند و وقتی که جمله را به هم پیوند می زنند رابطه ای را بین این دو جمله ایجاد می کنند.
👉For
به معنای علت و چرایی انجام کار است. مثال
I had a headache, for I hadn't slept well.

👉And
به معنای اضافه کردن و به علاوه می‌باشد.
I went out and walked for a while.

👉Nor
وقتی گفته می‌شود که بخواهیم از دو گزینه هیچکدام را انتخاب نکنیم.
I didn't have his phone no., nor did I have his email address.

👉But
به معنای "اما" می‌باشد که تضاد را می‌رساند.
I was tired, but I went to bed late.

👉Or
وقتی گفته می‌شود که بخواهیم از دو گزینه فقط یکی را انتخاب کنیم به معنای "یا" می باشد.
I have to study hard or I may fail.

👉Yet
این هم مانند "but" به معنای "اما" میباشد که تضاد را میرساند.
I was tired, yet I went to bed late.

👉So
به معنای "بنابر این" میباشد که نتیجه را می رساند. یعنی در اثر انجام کاری یا وجود حالتی نتیجه ای رخ می‌دهد.
I was tired, so I went to bed early.

🔵 Marry
فعلی است متعددی و بدون حرف اضافه به کار می‌رود.

✳️ He married a friend of his sister's.

🔴بنابراین غلط است اگر گفته شود:

✳️ He married with a friend of his sister's.

🔵در انگلیسی گفتاری روزمره be/get married to sb رایج‌تر است:

✳️ He is getting married to Sheila next week.
✳️ How long have you been married to Sheila?

🔴بنابراین غلط است اگه گفته شود:

✅ نکته کاربردی: Marry

🔵 Marry
فعلی است متعددی و بدون حرف اضافه به کار می‌رود.

✳️ He married a friend of his sister's.

🔴بنابراین غلط است اگر گفته شود:

✳️ He married with a friend of his sister's.

🔵در انگلیسی گفتاری روزمره be/get married to sb رایج‌تر است:

✳️ He is getting married to Sheila next week.
✳️ How long have you been married to Sheila?

🔴بنابراین غلط است اگه گفته شود:

✳️ He is getting married with Sheila next week.
✳️ How long have you been married with Sheila?

🔵 ولی می‌توان گفت:

✳️ She is married with two daughters.
✳️ او ازدواج کرده است و دو دختر دارد.

Wrong use of that in direct speech.
استفاده اشتباه از that در نقل قول مستقیم

❌Don't say: She said that, 'I'm sure to pass.'

✅Say: She said, 'I'm sure to pass.'

💥نکته: نمی‌توان از " that" در نقل قول مستقیم استفاده کرد. باید عین جمله‌ای که از سوی گویینده گفته شده نقل شود.

👈 توجه: در نقل قول غیر مستقیم می‌گویم:
He said that he was sure to pass.
