🔻 "In-depth geopolitical analyses from the heart of the Resistance Axis to global conflict zones."
Download Telegram
In Lebanon, the picture becomes complete when viewed alongside its Iraqi counterpart.

In Beirut, Parliament granted confidence to Nawaf Salam’s government with 68 votes against 12. But the significant point was not the numbers. It was what happened within the Shiite duo itself. MPs from the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc (Hezbollah) walked out of the chamber immediately before the vote. They neither granted confidence nor voted against it.

This rupture is not a procedural detail. It is a precise indicator of the loss of the “finger signal.”

During Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s era, it was difficult to imagine a government formation or confidence vote proceeding without his approval. Nasrallah had openly stated that “the party would accept only a government” meeting its conditions, and that “we must be in the government to protect the back of the resistance.”

Today, Hezbollah is unable to bring down the government, prevent it from receiving confidence, or even persuade its traditional ally, the Amal Movement, to walk out alongside it. It therefore chose to withdraw in order to “save face.”

In Baghdad, the same logic is repeated in another form. During Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis’s era, he was regarded as the “linchpin of consensus among all Iraqi factions,” managing coordination between the factions and the government so that internal disputes would not spiral beyond control.

With his departure, Iraq lost not only a commander but also a decision-making mechanism capable of transforming fragmentation into an actionable consensus.

Today, the Coordination Framework, despite holding a parliamentary majority, ministries, and extensive influence, is unable to select a prime minister in the face of an American veto, impose a sovereign decision over the airspace issue, or resolve the question of placing weapons exclusively under state control, which has instead become an open-ended negotiation.

📌 Conclusion: Leadership Is Not Measured by Rhetoric

The difference between the era of the founding leaders and those who came after them is clear:

The former made decisions and assumed responsibility for their consequences. The latter wait for decisions to be made for them and prefer the safety of rhetoric.

Those who control the Ministry of Transport cannot prevent a single decision concerning sovereignty, while those who raise the slogan of
“full sovereignty”

allow a sovereign matter as critical as control of the airspace to be managed through foreign companies.

The result is the same in both arenas: those who possess the majority do not possess the decision, and those who control the ministries do not possess the tools.

Neither side is betraying nor resisting, because neither side any longer possesses the authority that can transform rhetoric into action.

What remains is the same scene repeating itself: condemnation, withdrawal, and then waiting.

🔴 Persian Gulf Waterway Management Authority Warns Shipowners Against Unauthorized Routes as Vessel Owners Issue Apology

📍 Strait of Hormuz

The Persian Gulf Waterway Management Authority has warned shipowners that some charterers are forcing vessels to navigate through unauthorized routes.

The authority explained that doing so increases the risk of financial and human losses for the vessel, its owner, captain, and crew. It also warned that the vessel could subsequently face serious restrictions when attempting to transit the Strait of Hormuz.

The authority stated that chartering companies found to be in violation would be added to a non-compliance list, and the transit of all vessels affiliated with those companies through the Strait of Hormuz would be restricted.

The authority also said that shipowners had sent an apology to Iran by email after a vessel transited the Strait of Hormuz without authorization.

In their message, they stated that the violation had not occurred on the shipowner’s orders, nor as a result of negligence by the captain, but rather because of direct and coercive instructions from the charterer, amid intense commercial pressure.

They affirmed their recognition of the authority and jurisdiction of the Persian Gulf Waterway Management Authority over the waters of the Strait of Hormuz, as well as the regulations governing navigation through it, and requested the support of the relevant authorities under the current difficult circumstances.

Finally, local sources reported hearing explosions in the Strait of Hormuz.

These sounds are believed to have resulted either from warning detonations or from mines exploding after vessels deviated from the designated routes. However, there is no independent official confirmation of this at this time.

🚨 LEBANON | ISRAELI ATTACKS — 26 SEPTEMBER 2026

📍 Southern Lebanon | Operational Situation Report

Israeli forces maintained a multi-layered pattern of kinetic activity across southern Lebanon on 26 September, combining airstrikes, artillery fire, ground demolitions and illumination. Independent reporting confirms strikes and shelling across several areas, including Jabal al-Rafi’, Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, Wadi Zibqin, Mansouri, Haddatha and surrounding areas.

🛩 AIRSTRIKES
• Jabal al-Rafi’
• Mansouri

Reports indicate multiple strikes around Sojod and the Jezzine heights, with explosions reportedly audible as far as Saida.

💥 ARTILLERY FIRE
• Wadi Zibqin
• Doha Kfar Rummane
• Wadi Saluki — vicinity of Shaqra
• Mansouri
• Zawtar al-Sharqiyah
• Kfar Tebnit
• Beit Yahoun
• Baraasheet
• Haddatha
• Mais al-Jabal

Additional reporting confirms artillery activity around Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, Mayfadoun, Wadi Zibqin and Haddatha. Lebanese and international reports also documented the use of phosphorus munitions in parts of the Nabatieh area.

💣 DEMOLITIONS / CONTROLLED EXPLOSIONS
• Baraasheet
• Baraasheet–Beit Yahoun
• Baraasheet–Kounine
• Tiri
• Majdal Zoun
• Mansouri–Majdal Zoun
• Mais al-Jabal
• Taybeh
• Khiam

Several explosions were reported around Baraasheet and the areas linking it with Beit Yahoun and Kounine. A major explosion was also reported in Tiri.

🚨 ILLUMINATION FLARES
• Mansouri
• Halta

🔴 MILITARY ASSESSMENT

The significance of the day’s activity lies less in any single strike than in the combination of effects.

The pattern indicates three simultaneous objectives:

1️⃣ Fire control:
Artillery and airpower are being used to maintain pressure across multiple sectors rather than concentrating exclusively on one target area.

2️⃣ Terrain denial and destruction:
The repeated demolitions around Baraasheet, Beit Yahoun, Kounine, Tiri, Taybeh, Khiam and other southern locations indicate continued efforts to alter the physical battlespace and restrict movement through selected areas. Reporting also indicates continued Israeli military presence around parts of southern Lebanon.

3️⃣ Surveillance and night-time control:
Illumination flares, low-altitude drone activity and artillery fire form a complementary surveillance-and-fire-control architecture, particularly along exposed approaches and contested terrain.

⚠️ KEY INDICATOR

The attacks are occurring despite the June framework agreement that envisaged an Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory alongside the deployment of the Lebanese Army in areas vacated by Israeli forces. Continued air, artillery and demolition operations therefore demonstrate that the ceasefire framework has not translated into a cessation of military activity on the ground.

📌 Bottom line:
26 September reflects sustained Israeli pressure across southern Lebanon through a combination of airpower, artillery, demolitions and battlefield illumination. The operational pattern points to continued control of the battlespace and physical restriction of movement, rather than a transition toward a stable ceasefire environment.

🚨 🎬 WASHINGTON’S LATEST BLOCKBUSTER: WAR, NOW IN IMAX

Apparently, foreign policy needed a little Hollywood treatment.

The latest campaign video turns American military power into a full-scale action movie: rapid cuts, fighter jets taking off, warships, submarines, missile launches, infrared targeting footage and, naturally, ominous music.

🎥 THE FORMULA

🇺🇸 Donald Trump moves between presidential aircraft and military settings, carefully framed like the protagonist entering the final act.

✈️ Fighter jets launch.
🚢 Warships appear.
🌊 Submarines emerge.
🚀 Missiles fly.
🎯 Targets light up on-screen.
🎵 The soundtrack makes sure nobody forgets that this is supposed to feel terrifying.

Then comes the voiceover: warnings to foreign adversaries, promises of overwhelming retaliation and appeals directed at foreign populations concerning regime change.

Because apparently, complicated diplomacy, international law, escalation risks and the human cost of war can all be compressed into a two-minute action trailer.

🍿 THE MESSAGE

The production is built around a familiar formula:

Military power = strength.

Strength = deterrence.

Deterrence = obedience.

It is less a foreign-policy briefing than a military recruitment trailer for American power itself.

The interesting part is not the hardware. The United States obviously possesses formidable military capabilities.

The interesting part is the packaging.

When cruise missiles are presented with the aesthetics of a summer blockbuster, warfare stops looking like warfare and starts looking like entertainment.

No civilian casualties.
No destroyed infrastructure.
No escalation spiral.
No body bags.
No diplomatic consequences.

Just jets, missiles, dramatic music and the comforting certainty that the hero always gets the final scene.

🎬 Hollywood has officially entered the war room.

The only thing missing is:

“Coming soon to a country near you.”

🚨🚨 MILITARY & GEOPOLITICAL REPORT: MILITARY ESCALATION AND NAVIGATION RESTRICTIONS IN THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ AND OFF THE SIRIK COAST

1. Military and Tactical Assessment

• Clashes off the Sirik coast: Heavy explosions were reported near Sirik, at the eastern entrance to the Strait of Hormuz, which has a minimum width of approximately 39 km (21 nautical miles).

• Vessel targeting: At least one vessel was confirmed hit during overnight operations, amid intensified maritime activity and the deployment of fast boats belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy (IRGC-N).

• Tactics and mines: Assessments indicate the use of fast boats and anti-ship naval mines, such as the Maham-3 bottom-water mine and Maham-7 seabed mine, to establish asymmetric control over the waterway.

2. Geopolitical and Strategic Assessment

• Administrative and financial pressure: The announcement by the Strait of Hormuz Management Authority that non-compliant companies would be placed on a “non-compliance list” is intended to drive up maritime insurance premiums, which had previously risen by more than 400% to 600%, and disrupt shipping along unauthorized routes.

• Energy corridor significance: Approximately 20% to 25% of global oil and liquefied natural gas supplies pass through the Strait of Hormuz, making any escalation there directly consequential for global energy prices.

• Mutual deterrence: Tehran and the Iranian coastal authorities in these areas appear to be seeking to establish a maritime sovereignty equation over the Strait in response to any transit or protection plans led by external powers.

🚨 NORTHERN ISRAEL ON ALERT: KIRYAT SHMONA WARNS OF IMPENDING STRIKES ON LEBANON

A warning issued by the Kiryat Shmona municipality to residents across the Upper Galilee, Hula Valley, Ramim Ridge and northern Golan Heights, advising them to expect loud explosions amid anticipated Israeli strikes on Lebanon, is more than a routine civil-defense notification. It reflects the growing sensitivity of Israel’s northern front and the political and military risks attached to any expansion of operations.

🔴 1. DOMESTIC PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE

Kiryat Shmona remains one of the clearest indicators of the pressure created by the northern conflict.

The city had approximately 26,000 residents before the war. By November 2025, the Knesset reported that around 18,000 had returned, meaning thousands remained displaced or absent despite the declared effort to restore normal life.

The municipality therefore has two audiences:

🇮🇱 Inside Israel: demonstrate that the military and local authorities retain control and are anticipating the next phase rather than being surprised by it.

🇱🇧 Across the border: signal that Israeli forces are preparing to expand or intensify strikes, while simultaneously generating uncertainty about their timing and geographic scope.

The warning itself becomes part of the psychological battlefield.

⚠️ 2. PUBLIC WARNING AS OPERATIONAL SIGNAL

The geographic breadth of the alert is significant.

The areas mentioned stretch across the Upper Galilee, Hula Valley, Ramim Ridge and northern Golan, encompassing communities already heavily affected by the conflict.

This is not an abstract concern. In 2023, approximately 61,800 residents from 43 northern communities were displaced, including roughly 23,000 people from Kiryat Shmona alone.

The Israeli Home Front Command subsequently invested heavily in fortification, including approximately 1,300 protective shelters, 20 fortified guard posts and 3,700 emergency-team safes in northern communities during one year of preparations.

That infrastructure illustrates the underlying reality: the northern front remains a civilian-military pressure point even when large-scale combat is not continuously visible.

🎯 3. THE WARNING ALSO CREATES OPERATIONAL AMBIGUITY

Announcing that strikes are imminent does not necessarily reveal the actual targets, timing or scale of an operation.

It can serve several functions simultaneously:

• prepare civilians for the sound of air operations;

• reinforce the perception of Israeli military initiative;

• place Lebanese communities and opposing forces on heightened alert;

• complicate efforts to distinguish between genuine operational indicators and deliberate signaling.

In intelligence terms, the announcement should therefore be treated as an information indicator, not confirmation of the precise scope of the coming operation.

🔥 4. THE NORTHERN FRONT REMAINS A RECIPROCAL SECURITY EQUATION

Israel’s own recent statements underline the connection between operations in southern Lebanon and security conditions around Kiryat Shmona.

On 10 September 2026, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz said Israeli forces had destroyed underground infrastructure in the Ali Taher ridge, describing it as an area overlooking Metula and Kiryat Shmona, and stated that Israeli forces would remain in what they called a security zone in southern Lebanon.

That creates a broader strategic equation:

Israeli strikes in Lebanon → heightened northern Israeli alert → potential cross-border response → renewed pressure on northern communities.

The repeated need to prepare communities such as Kiryat Shmona for renewed disruption demonstrates that military pressure has not eliminated the underlying security problem. Instead, the confrontation continues to operate as a reciprocal cycle of fire, warning, deterrence and counter-deterrence.

🛰️ THE OBSERVER ASSESSMENT

The Kiryat Shmona warning should therefore be read on three levels simultaneously:

TACTICAL: preparation for an anticipated Israeli air operation.

PSYCHOLOGICAL: conditioning northern Israeli residents while transmitting a warning across the border.

STRATEGIC: evidence that the northern security equation remains unresolved despite extensive military activity and fortification.

The most important indicator is not simply whether Israeli aircraft strike Lebanon, but what follows the strikes: the geographic scope of the operation, the intensity and duration of the response, and whether the northern Israeli home front remains exposed to renewed disruption.

The warning is therefore both a civil-defense measure and a strategic signal.

🔴 BREAKING: Putin Rejects Direct Negotiations with Ukraine and NATO

The Kremlin has firmly turned down diplomatic talks with Kyiv and NATO member states. Here is a breakdown of Moscow's motives and the immediate strategic fallout:

🔹Why Moscow Refused:
Maximalist Demands Unmet: Russia continues to insist on its core conditions: full Ukrainian withdrawal from four claimed eastern and southern regions, a formal ban on Ukraine joining NATO, and caps on Kyiv’s armed forces.

🔹War of Attrition Strategy: The Kremlin is betting that time favors Moscow, calculating that long-term pressure will exhaust Ukrainian forces and fracture Western political unity.

🔹Rejecting Western Frameworks: Moscow views NATO and Ukrainian ceasefire proposals as attempts to freeze the frontlines and halt Russian military momentum without addressing structural security demands.

🔴The Fallout & Key Consequences:

🔹No Near-Term Ceasefire: The breakdown closes off immediate diplomatic off-ramps, ensuring the war continues as a high-intensity, long-term conflict.

🔹Escalated Western Support: NATO allies are expected to increase defense production, accelerate arms deliveries to Kyiv, and bolster deployments along the Eastern Flank.

🔹Deeper Economic Sanctions: Western nations are set to tighten energy caps and commercial restrictions aimed at cutting off Russian war funding.

🔹Elevated Risk of Miscalculation: With direct dialogue stalled, the probability of regional military incidents and unintended escalation between Russia and NATO remains high.

🔴 NEWS | IRAQ: INVESTMENT OR LAND GRAB?

🇮🇶 Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi has reportedly offered American companies land ownership in Iraq, alongside 10-year tax and customs exemptions, during a pitch to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in New York.

He invited U.S. firms to participate in:

🔹 Petrochemicals
🔹 Gas
🔹 Clean energy
🔹 The Development Road railway project

The initiative was presented as a “partnership.”

⚠️ THE CRITICISM:

Critics argue that this is not a partnership, but a land grab disguised as investment.

🇺🇸 WHAT WOULD AMERICAN OWNERSHIP OF IRAQI LAND MEAN?

1️⃣ It is already happening — allegedly in secret

Iraqi officials have reportedly exposed that American companies are already acquiring vast areas of oil-, gas- and mineral-rich land in western Anbar under the pretext of “investment.”

The reported contracts are secret and extend over decades. Some Iraqi government officials in western regions reportedly do not even know how these arrangements were concluded.

2️⃣ Investment comes with a military footprint

The same reports claim that U.S. airborne forces are deployed to provide security for American corporate land holdings.

That raises a fundamental question:

Is the military presence protecting Iraq’s interests, or protecting American corporate assets?

3️⃣ Critics describe a pattern of resource extraction

Iraqi political leaders have publicly warned that American companies are plundering Iraq’s oil, gas and mineral resources across western regions.

The resistance movement Harakat al-Nujaba has described the broader U.S. “investment” project as a cover for resource extraction and economic control, portraying it as theft presented as development.

⚠️ SOVEREIGNTY AT STAKE

Once foreign companies own the land rather than merely lease it, Iraq potentially loses significant leverage.

If U.S. companies control the extraction, transportation and sale of Iraqi resources, what happens when Baghdad seeks a larger OPEC quota or wants to change its resource policy?

Could long-term land contracts become a future pressure point?

🔴 THE TRANSPARENCY PROBLEM

Iraq’s property-registration system is already affected by:

▪️ Competing ownership claims
▪️ Gaps in records
▪️ Decades of displacement
▪️ Confiscation and destruction of property records

Granting permanent land ownership to foreign corporations in such an environment could create irreversible consequences for national territory.

💰 THIS IS BIGGER THAN LAND

The issue extends beyond property ownership.

Following the July Washington visit, 48 agreements were announced with U.S. companies covering:

🇺🇸 Oil
⚡ Electricity
🏭 Industry
💻 Technology
💰 Finance

Yet the Prime Minister’s office reportedly refused to publish the texts or clarify how many of these agreements are legally binding.

Iraqis, therefore, are being kept in the dark about agreements that could shape the country’s economic structure for generations.

🇮🇶 THE BOTTOM LINE

Iraq’s resources belong to the Iraqi people.

Not to Chevron.
Not to ExxonMobil.
Not to American corporations accountable to shareholders in New York and Houston.

Land ownership is permanent.

Tax exemptions can last a decade.

But the consequences for Iraqi sovereignty could last far longer.

🔴 STOP THE SELL-OFF.

🇮🇶 IRAQ IS NOT FOR SALE.

🚨 UAE INTERVENTION IN ETHIOPIA: A NEW AIR BRIDGE TO PROP UP ABIY AHMED’S FALTERING REGIME

The Ethiopian scene is witnessing serious military and political escalation, amid reports of a surge in UAE military support through an intensive air bridge aimed at bolstering the government of Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.

The development comes at a critical moment, as the Ethiopian federal army faces widespread attacks alongside the emergence of a new armed alliance involving several forces, most notably:

🔹 Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF)
🔹 Fano groups in Amhara

According to the reports, these forces have made battlefield gains, including the seizure of strategic positions and key airports in the Tigray region.

✈️ MILITARY AND GEOPOLITICAL DEVELOPMENTS

1️⃣ Air Bridge and Military Support

Flight-tracking data and field sources reportedly indicate intensive cargo movements transporting military equipment from UAE bases to Harar Meda Air Base in Ethiopia and Addis Ababa Airport.

The equipment, reportedly including drones and advanced munitions, is being used to support government forces and attempt to halt the deterioration of their front lines against the armed factions.

2️⃣ Diplomatic Cover

Alongside the logistical support, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued official statements condemning what it described as “Tigray attacks and the seizure of airports,” while declaring full support for the Abiy Ahmed government under the banner of “protecting the Ethiopian constitution and sovereignty.”

3️⃣ Regional Alliances and Abu Dhabi’s Interests

The intervention once again highlights what is described as the UAE’s expansionist agenda in the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea.

Abu Dhabi relies on the Abiy Ahmed government as a key ally for advancing its influence and investment interests in the region, alongside converging interests with Israel aimed at strengthening its presence at the entrance to the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and containing competing regional powers.

🔎 ANALYTICAL ASSESSMENT: THE DIMENSIONS AND BACKGROUND OF UAE INTERVENTION

🔸 Military Proxy Strategy

According to this assessment, the developments in Ethiopia cannot be separated from what occurred in Sudan and Yemen, where Abu Dhabi is described as pursuing a strategy of flooding regions with weapons and fueling proxy wars in order to ensure the dependence of governments and political regimes on its agenda.

🔸 Eroding Sovereignty and Fueling Civil Wars

Rather than allowing space for an internal Ethiopian political settlement that could protect civilian lives, direct intervention and the rearming of conflict parties contribute to adding fuel to the fire and prolonging civil wars across the Horn of Africa.

🔸 Threat to Arab and Regional Security

According to this assessment, UAE intervention in Ethiopia, Sudan and the Red Sea is contributing to a reshaping of the regional balance of influence at the expense of the security of regional states, while creating a persistent state of instability that facilitates the exploitation of ports and resources.

📌 CONCLUSION

What the region is witnessing today is, according to this assessment, another UAE attempt to shore up a government approaching collapse and exploit internal conflicts in pursuit of narrow geopolitical influence.

According to this assessment, the continuation of this intervention will only lead to further destruction and the displacement of millions across Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa.

🚨 MAJOR SECURITY INCIDENT: Explosives Arrests & Evacuations at RAF Fairford

British authorities have declared a major incident surrounding RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire after counter-terror and armed police arrested multiple suspects under the Explosives Act.

📊 Key Facts & Operational Data

• The Incident: Gloucestershire Police and Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams were deployed to inspect multiple suspicious vehicles near the base perimeter.
• Arrests Made: Several men have been taken into custody on suspicion of explosives offences.
• Evacuations: Residents in the nearby village of Whelford have been evacuated from their homes as a precaution. An emergency reception center has been set up at the local youth football club.
• Security Perimeter: Armed police have established a multi-mile cordon while military bomb disposal experts sweep the surrounding vehicles and structures.

🌐 Why Is RAF Fairford So Critical?

RAF Fairford is not an ordinary military airfield—it is NATO's primary forward-operating location in Europe for heavy strategic bombers.

1. U.S. Nuclear & Heavy Bomber Hub: The airfield is heavily utilized by the U.S. Air Force (USAF). It features one of the longest runways in Europe (nearly 10,000 feet), specifically built to accommodate heavy nuclear-capable aircraft such as B-52H Stratofortresses, B-1B Lancers, and stealth B-2 Spirits.

2. Geopolitical Hotspot: Due to its role in projecting Western military power across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East, RAF Fairford serves as a central staging ground during global crises.

3. High-Profile Target: An explosives threat or potential breach at a base housing strategic U.S. air assets triggers maximum national security protocols across the UK Ministry of Defence and allied intelligence agencies.

🔄 Current Situation
EOD units remain on scene conducting controlled investigations of the seized vehicles. Police have urged the public to avoid the area while counter-terrorism officers establish the origin and intent behind the suspect vehicles.

🔴 Al-Amiri Calls on Iraqi Government to Reverse Suspension of Iranian Flights, Describing It as “Unjust” 📍 Baghdad Hadi al-Amiri, Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, called on the Iraqi government to reverse its decision to suspend Iranian flights…
🚨 IN DEFIANCE OF WASHINGTON: FOUR IRANIAN AIRCRAFT EN ROUTE TO ISTANBUL DESPITE NEW U.S. SANCTIONS

Four Iranian aircraft are currently reported to be heading toward Istanbul, just days after Washington’s latest sanctions targeting Iran’s aviation sector came into force.

The development highlights a growing gap between U.S. sanctions policy and its practical enforcement on the ground, particularly along Iran’s air links with neighboring countries.

🇺🇸 WASHINGTON’S PRESSURE CAMPAIGN

The U.S. Treasury has imposed sweeping measures targeting Iran’s aviation sector, including Iranian airlines, aviation-related entities and intermediaries. Washington says the sanctions are intended to restrict Iran’s ability to use commercial aviation for the movement of personnel, weapons and other cargo.

✈️ ISTANBUL REMAINS AN IMPORTANT AIR BRIDGE

Despite the new restrictions, Iranian aviation links with Türkiye have continued.

Iran Air previously stated that its flights to Istanbul would continue because it had received no directive from Turkish aviation authorities ordering their suspension. Independent reporting has also documented Iranian aircraft continuing to operate into Istanbul after the sanctions took effect.

🇹🇷 WHY TURKEY MATTERS

Istanbul has become an increasingly important transit point for Iranian passengers and aviation activity as several regional destinations have restricted Iranian flights.

The contrast is becoming increasingly visible: while countries including the UAE, Iraq and Oman have introduced restrictions affecting Iranian air links, Türkiye has continued to permit at least some Iranian aviation activity.

⚠️ THE STRATEGIC SIGNAL

The significance of the four aircraft is therefore not simply commercial.

If confirmed, their continued movement would demonstrate that Washington’s ability to translate sanctions into a comprehensive international shutdown of Iranian aviation remains dependent on the cooperation of third-country governments, airports, ground-service providers and financial institutions.

For Tehran, maintaining even limited international air corridors provides an important degree of connectivity at a time when its aviation network is under increasing pressure.

For Washington, every Iranian flight that continues through a major regional hub raises a broader question: how far can unilateral sanctions reach when key transit states choose to maintain selective links with Iran?

🔎 The battle over Iran’s skies is increasingly becoming a test of sanctions enforcement, Turkish-Iranian relations and the limits of U.S. economic coercion.

🖤 TWO YEARS WITHOUT SAYYED HASSAN NASRALLAH
September 27, 2024 — September 27, 2026

Two years ago today, Beirut was shaken by one of the most consequential assassinations in the modern history of the region.

Shortly after 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2024, a massive Israeli airstrike struck an underground Hezbollah command compound beneath residential buildings in Haret Hreik, in Beirut’s southern suburbs.

The target was Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah’s Secretary-General and one of the Middle East’s most influential political and military figures.

The Israeli military announced that it had carried out the operation to target Hezbollah’s central command. Hezbollah confirmed Nasrallah’s death the following day.

Alongside him were other senior figures, including Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan, a senior commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and Ali Karaki, a senior Hezbollah military commander.

🕊️ 32 YEARS AT THE HELM

Nasrallah had led Hezbollah since 1992, when he succeeded Abbas al-Musawi, who had himself been assassinated by Israel.

For more than three decades, Nasrallah remained at the center of Hezbollah’s transformation.

Under his leadership, the organization evolved from a Lebanese armed movement into a powerful political and military actor with influence extending well beyond Lebanon.

His speeches became regional events. His image became inseparable from Hezbollah’s identity. And his security regime became increasingly restrictive as Israeli efforts to locate and target him intensified.

For years, he lived almost entirely away from public view, communicating with supporters and opponents through carefully controlled appearances and speeches.

⚫ THE DAY THAT CHANGED THE REGION

Then came September 27.

The enormous blast that tore through Haret Hreik did more than destroy a fortified underground compound.

It ended the life of a man who had occupied the center of Hezbollah’s leadership for 32 years and opened a new and profoundly uncertain chapter for Lebanon and the region.

His assassination was followed by a major escalation of the conflict, with intensified Israeli military operations across Lebanon and a dramatic transformation of the regional strategic environment.

🕯️ TWO YEARS LATER

Today, his supporters remember him not simply as a political leader, but as a man who, in their eyes, embodied resistance, sacrifice and defiance.

To his followers, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was a leader who remained at the forefront of a decades-long confrontation with Israel and became a symbol of resistance far beyond Lebanon.

To his adversaries, he was the head of a heavily armed organization that played a central role in Lebanon’s conflicts and the wider regional wars.

But whatever the political interpretation, his death marked the end of an era.

Two years later, his voice is silent.

His speeches remain.

His image remains.

His legacy remains contested, debated and deeply embedded in the history of Lebanon and the Middle East.

🕊️ Two years have passed.
But for those who followed him, September 27 is not simply the anniversary of a death.

It is the anniversary of the day they lost their Sayyed.

May the memory of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah remain eternal in the hearts of those who loved him.

🖤 September 27, 2024 — A day remembered.
A leader remembered.
An era remembered.

Two Years On: The Man Even His Enemies Could Not Ignore

September 27, 2026

( Part 1 )

Two years ago today, the man who reshaped the Middle East was killed in an Israeli strike on Beirut's southern suburbs. Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is gone. But in the region he helped define, his absence is still felt like a wound that refuses to close.

He Changed the Equation

Before Nasrallah, Israel's occupation of southern Lebanon seemed permanent. In 2000, after 22 years of occupation, Israeli forces withdrew — not through negotiation, not through concession, but through relentless resistance. It was the first time in modern Arab history that Israel was forced to abandon occupied Arab land without a peace treaty. That single moment redefined what was possible.

He transformed Hezbollah from a guerrilla movement into the most formidable non-state military force in the world. In 2006, his fighters held their ground for 34 days against one of the most powerful armies on earth. The region took notice. So did the world.

He Gave the Shia of Lebanon a Voice

For generations, Lebanon's Shia community had been marginalized — poor, ignored, spoken for by others. Nasrallah changed that. Under his leadership, the community gained not only military strength but political weight, social institutions, schools, hospitals, and a sense of dignity that had been denied to them for decades. Whether one admired him or despised him, no one could deny that he made an entire community stand tall.

The Supreme Shia Council of Lebanon said it plainly on this anniversary:
"His life, his positions, and every station of his journey will remain in the conscience of the nation."

He Stood for Gaza When Others Stayed Silent

On October 8, 2023, one day after the Gaza war began, Nasrallah made a decision that would cost him everything. While Arab capitals issued statements and Sunni leaders looked away, he opened the Lebanese front. He knew what it would mean. He knew Israel would come for him. He knew his people would pay a price.

He did it anyway.

Not because it was strategic — though it was. Not because it was popular in the streets — though it was. He did it because he believed that when a people are being slaughtered, silence is complicity. He placed his life, his movement, and his community on the line for a cause that was not his own. That is a debt the people of Gaza have not forgotten.

Even His Enemies Respected His Weight

Israel's former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant called him
"the terrorist of terrorists"

— words of hatred, yes, but also words that revealed how deeply one man could unsettle an entire nation. Israeli leaders spent decades obsessing over him, fearing him, and ultimately assassinating him. You do not spend that much energy on someone you consider insignificant.

His own people remember something else. In 1997, when his eldest son Hadi was killed in battle, Nasrallah refused to hide his children behind his position. At the funeral, he said:
"We, the leaders of Hezbollah, do not hide our children."

That image — a father burying his son without special protection — stayed with millions.

A Man Who Will Be Missed by the Honorable

Today, his portrait still hangs on every wall in Dahieh. Crowds still gather at his tomb. In Baghdad, in Sanaa, in Tehran, in every corner of the region where people believe that resistance is not a slogan but a duty, his name is still spoken with reverence.

He once said:
"Israel is weaker than a spider's web."

The line was mocked, quoted, debated. But the truth behind it mattered more than the words themselves: the weak are not destined to remain weak forever — if someone is willing to pay the price.

Two years ago, he paid that price. And the question he left behind still haunts the region: when silence is safer and compromise is "wiser," why would a man give everything for a cause that seems impossible?

He never answered that question with words. He answered it with his life.

And for the honorable people of the world — those who believe that dignity is worth more than survival — he will be deeply, painfully missed.
