🔴 YEMEN | THE AI WAR: HOW ANSAR ALLAH IS TURNING COMMERCIAL TECHNOLOGY INTO MILITARY LEVERAGE
Sana’a | September 2026
Anthropic’s latest threat-intelligence report has revealed that a weapons-development cell in northern Yemen used Claude Code to assist with military software development, including guidance, navigation, simulation and troubleshooting.
The reported programmes included a guided rocket, a multi-stage ballistic missile with a stated range exceeding 2,000 km, and a missile concept involving a hypersonic-glide configuration. Anthropic has not established that these AI-assisted systems were operationally deployed.
🔴 FROM BLOCKADE TO ADAPTATION
The significance lies in the combination visible in the images: commercial computing hardware, open-source software and frontier AI being integrated into a weapons-development environment.
For a force operating under sanctions and restricted access to advanced military technology, AI can reduce some of the expertise and time required for software development, simulation and technical troubleshooting.
🔴 THE BATTLEFIELD CONTEXT
This development comes alongside Ansar Allah’s expanding military capabilities and recent advances along Yemen’s Red Sea coast and around the Bab al-Mandab theatre.
Those battlefield gains cannot be attributed to AI. They reflect years of adaptation involving missiles, drones, intelligence, manpower, geography and combat experience.
AI represents a potential new layer in that system: accelerating the ability of relatively small technical teams to develop and refine military technologies.
🔴 STRATEGIC IMPLICATION
The real significance is not that AI has “won the war” for the Houthis.
It is that the technological barrier separating a non-state force from sophisticated military development is becoming less dependent on access to traditional defense industries.
The combination of commercial hardware, open-source knowledge and AI-assisted engineering could make rapid, low-cost military innovation an increasingly important feature of asymmetric warfare.

😱🚨 Ukraine Explores Legalizing Adult Content to Fund Military Drones
Ukraine is reportedly considering the decriminalization and taxation of adult content creation as an unconventional strategy to generate revenue for national defense. Under proposed legislative adjustments, taxing the adult entertainment industry could yield an estimated $25 million annually.
Government officials and proponents suggest these tax proceeds could be directly channeled into military procurement, specifically funding approximately 30,000 defense drones per year. Proponents argue that bringing the illicit or grey-market adult industry into a regulated tax framework serves a dual purpose: expanding the national tax base during wartime and bolstering frontline reconnaissance and operational capabilities.
Critics and lawmakers continue to debate the ethical and social implications of decriminalizing the sector, but the financial projection highlights Ukraine's focus on identifying internal revenue streams to sustain its defense infrastructure.

🔴 PERSIAN GULF | SECURITY RISKS AND LOGISTICS BOTTLENECKS RESHAPE THE REGIONAL BALANCE
14 September 2026
The security environment across the Persian Gulf is increasingly being shaped by the interaction of precision intelligence, vulnerable energy infrastructure and strategic maritime chokepoints.
🔹 PRECISION STRIKE CAPABILITY
Reports indicate that an Iranian strike that killed three U.S. service members involved the use of high-resolution Chinese satellite imagery to identify and target a U.S. military installation.
If confirmed, the episode would highlight a growing challenge for U.S. and allied forces: regional actors can increasingly combine foreign commercial or state-linked intelligence capabilities with precision-strike systems, complicating the protection of fixed military infrastructure.
🔹 THE ENERGY BOTTLENECK
Saudi Arabia is simultaneously facing pressure on its oil-export infrastructure. Disruption to the East-West pipeline, which carries crude from the Eastern Province toward Red Sea ports, has exposed the vulnerability of an alternative route designed to reduce dependence on Gulf maritime corridors.
Prolonged disruption could rapidly constrain export capacity and increase pressure on global oil markets.
🔹 HORMUZ BECOMES THE DIPLOMATIC CENTER
Against this backdrop, GCC states have sought an urgent meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, with security, transit guarantees and stability around the Strait of Hormuz expected to dominate the agenda.
The strategic picture is therefore becoming tightly interconnected: military precision affects base security, infrastructure attacks affect energy flows, and both increase the strategic importance of Hormuz.
The Persian Gulf is entering a period in which military risk, energy security and maritime access can no longer be treated as separate issues.

The suffering of Iraqi Interior Ministry officer Lt. Col. Asaad Hamid Al-Huraishawi, who has been detained in Saudi prisons since 2020 while performing Umrah, continues.
CASE DETAILS
▪️ Reason for detention: He was reportedly detained after Saudi authorities searched his mobile phone and found photographs documenting his participation in operations to liberate Iraqi territory from ISIS, along with photographs of leaders of the liberation effort.
▪️ Legal status: He has reportedly been detained for more than six years without a fair trial or clear official explanation of his legal status or fate.
Repeated reports and complaints point to dozens of Iraqi citizens allegedly detained while performing Umrah or during transit on similar grounds, including digital searches or alleged affiliations with Iraqi security institutions and the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF).
Among the reported cases:
▪️ Dr. Hussein Al-Jamali: An Iraqi specialist reportedly detained while performing Umrah over digital content and posts related to the period of Iraq’s liberation of its cities.
▪️ Dozens of visitors and citizens: Estimates indicate that dozens of Iraqis may be detained on allegations of “affiliation” or because their smartphones contain videos and photographs related to operations conducted by the coalition and Iraqi security forces against ISIS.
The repeated cases involving Iraqi pilgrims and missing Iraqi citizens reportedly held in Saudi prisons raise serious questions:
▪️ Why do the Iraqi government and the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Interior continue to overlook the case of a wounded Iraqi officer and other citizens who served their country?
▪️ How can an Iraqi citizen and serving officer remain detained for years without meaningful diplomatic action or genuine official pressure to protect him, demand his release, or establish the conditions of his detention?
Urgent action is required from all relevant authorities to end this neglect and secure the return of all Iraqi citizens and detainees held abroad.

🔴 PERSIAN GULF | SECURITY RISKS AND LOGISTICS BOTTLENECKS RESHAPE THE REGIONAL BALANCE 14 September 2026 The security environment across the Persian Gulf is increasingly being shaped by the interaction of precision intelligence, vulnerable energy infrastructure…
The Middle East energy crisis is increasingly centered on two strategic maritime chokepoints: the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandeb.
The Strait of Hormuz connects the Persian Gulf to global markets and carries nearly 30 million barrels of oil and petroleum products daily, making it one of the world’s most critical energy arteries.
Its geography gives Iran significant strategic leverage, as major Gulf exporters, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait and Iraq, depend heavily on this narrow passage to reach international markets.
At the opposite end of the regional energy network, Bab al-Mandeb connects the Red Sea with the Gulf of Aden and serves as a key route toward the Suez Canal.
Yemeni operations have demonstrated that maritime pressure in this corridor can force commercial shipping to reconsider the Red Sea route, increasing sailing distances, costs and insurance risks.
A serious disruption at either chokepoint would extend far beyond the region:
▪️ Higher global oil prices
▪️ Disrupted energy supply chains
▪️ Increased shipping and insurance costs
▪️ Greater pressure on Western energy security
▪️ Growing vulnerability of Asian economies dependent on Gulf energy

European natural gas benchmark prices (Dutch TTF) have spiked from $28 at the start of January to $83 per MWh, marking a massive vertical rally.
• Triple-Digit Surge: The benchmark price has risen almost 3x since Jan 1, trading near its 52-week highs around €82–€83.78/MWh.
• Supply Vulnerabilities: Supply constraints, geopolitical frictions in key transit corridors, and structural shifts away from pipeline gas continue to feed energy insecurity across the continent.
• Macro Impact: European industries and households face accelerating margin pressures entering the high-demand autumn and winter heating seasons.
The structural energy cost gap between Europe and competitor markets is expanding. Higher energy costs are here to stay, testing industrial resilience across the EU.

Forces of the Axis of Resistance have once again demonstrated their unwavering commitment to territorial integrity and defiance against imperialist aggression. In a clear and decisive operation, an American MQ-1 Predator drone was neutralized and brought down over the strategic waters of the Strait of Hormuz.
This action was not an act of unprovoked aggression, but a necessary and justifiable response to a persistent threat. Let it be clear: this operation was instigated by the continued, unlawful presence and provocative surveillance flights conducted by U.S. forces in the region especially around Iran’s vicinity !
Their violation of sovereign airspace constitutes a direct challenge that will not be met with silence, but with action.
We have consistently communicated the conditions for stability and peace in this region. These are non-negotiable and are rooted in international law and the right to self-determination:
1. Cease all provocative actions: Immediately stop the unlawful incursions by manned and unmanned aircraft into the sovereign airspace of Iran and its allies.
2. Respect maritime sovereignty: Respect the long-standing maritime borders and rights of regional nations to police and manage the Strait of Hormuz, a vital passageway that must not be held hostage by foreign powers.
3. Withdraw all destabilizing foreign forces: The continued military presence of outside powers, particularly those from across the globe, is the primary driver of regional tension. Stability will only be achieved with their complete and unconditional withdrawal.
Let this be a stern warning to those who test the resolve of the resistance. Every incursion will be met with a firm hand, and every threat will be countered with strength. Our resolve is iron, and our dedication to defending our land and values is unwavering.
Stay Vigilant. Stand Strong.

Publication Date: 15 September 2026
The article examines the fierce and hysterical reaction inside the Israeli entity following the screening of the Israeli documentary “NAZA”, directed by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, which won the Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival.
The film has been described as a “second earthquake” exposing and dismantling the official Israeli narrative following the shock of 7 October 2023. It includes firsthand testimonies from 24 officers and soldiers from Unit 8200 and Israeli intelligence, who acknowledge practices involving genocide, the targeting of civilians, and a policy of direct assassinations in Gaza.
The film triggered a state of emergency and widespread confusion. The Israeli military, under Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, announced investigations in response to the “global storm,” while the Israeli Culture Minister attacked the filmmakers, accusing them of treason and seeking to strip them of their citizenship.
The article argues that official attempts to demonize the film and suppress its directors may provide it with the best possible free publicity. The testimonies come from prominent, internationally award-winning Israeli filmmakers as well as military personnel who themselves participated in the war, exposing the official narrative before both Israeli and international public opinion.

Escalating Crises in Syria: Security Breakdown and Fractured Alliances Syria is experiencing a series of critical security and military developments, characterized as increasingly grave across political, security, and economic fronts. Key Developments …
Source: Al-Akhbar Lebanese newspaper | Based on sources in Sana’a
According to Al-Akhbar, citing sources in Sana’a, the recent battle on Yemen’s western coast and the defeat of forces aligned with Riyadh disrupted what the sources describe as a Saudi plan to reproduce the
“Syrian collapse scenario”
in Yemen.
The sources allege that Riyadh had been preparing for this scenario for more than a year by strengthening Salafi formations, including the Nation’s Shield Forces, Emergency Forces and Giants Brigades, while placing hardline commanders in senior military positions.
According to informed military sources cited by the newspaper, Sana’a obtained intelligence indicating that Saudi Arabia had facilitated the transfer of hundreds of extremist operatives from Syria into Yemen through Saudi territory.

▪️ The Israeli military is preparing to shift from a large ground footprint to a smaller, fortified forward-defense architecture after the Ali al-Taher operation.
According to Israel Hayom , the emerging “Gray Line” concept would reduce troop numbers and reposition forces along strategic heights and fixed positions roughly 2–4 km inside Lebanese territory, creating a new operational belt from which Israel could conduct surveillance, artillery and rapid strike operations. The plan has been reported as under consideration, not yet as a formally approved final deployment.
This should not be interpreted as a conventional Israeli withdrawal.
The objective appears to be force economy without surrendering operational depth:
▪️ Fewer troops exposed on the ground
▪️ Permanent control of selected high ground
▪️ Persistent drone and aerial surveillance
▪️ Artillery and precision-fire coverage
▪️ Engineering units positioned to destroy returning infrastructure
▪️ Rapid-response capability without maintaining a large occupation force
In military terms, Israel would be attempting to convert territorial presence into fire-control dominance.
Israel says it has completed the destruction of an underground network extending more than 2 km beneath the Ali al-Taher ridge and has established operational control above and below ground. The IDF says the site contained command infrastructure, weapons storage and anti-tank systems.
The key development is what comes next.
After the destruction of the underground complex, Israeli forces have begun reorganizing their deployment, while Israeli officials insist that the military will remain capable of preventing any return to the ridge. Defense Minister Israel Katz has explicitly warned that anyone approaching Ali al-Taher will be targeted.
🔴 THE STRATEGIC SHIFT
The emerging model is therefore:
occupy → clear → fortify → reduce manpower → maintain surveillance and fires → strike any attempt at reconstitution.
That is fundamentally different from withdrawal.
It would allow Israel to reduce the cost and vulnerability of a deep ground deployment while preserving a forward military lever inside Lebanon.
The significance of the “Gray Line” is not the number of soldiers Israel removes. It is which terrain Israel retains and what weapons and sensors remain behind them.
If implemented, the concept could institutionalize a smaller but more permanent Israeli military footprint in southern Lebanon, particularly around strategically dominant heights such as Ali al-Taher and the Beaufort area.
And there is a crucial contradiction in the current Israeli messaging: while reports describe preparations for redeployment, Katz has said Israel will not withdraw from the security zone until Hezbollah is disarmed across Lebanon.
The emerging doctrine is therefore
not “withdraw from southern Lebanon.”
It is
“hold less ground, but retain the ability to control more of it through surveillance and firepower.”
