🔴 Tehran Condemns Israeli Aggression in South Lebanon, Points to US Complicity Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Esmaeil Baqaei, issued today the 11th of August , 2026 , a sharp condemnation targeting the Zionist regime’s recent series of brutal strikes…
🔴 Zionist Rampage and the Complicity of Silence: The South Under Fire While the Lebanese Government Stays "Out of Service"

The Zionist enemy continues its unhindered field escalation, launching a drone strike targeting a civilian vehicle in the University Quarter of Nabatieh that resulted in two injuries. Demonstrating deliberate malice, the occupation carried out a double-tap strike directly targeting a "Rissala Boy Scouts" emergency rescue team as they arrived to assist the wounded, damaging their ambulance.

This direct attack on medical personnel comes alongside a synchronized escalation that included artillery shelling and controlled demolitions across Wadi al-Hujair, the Ali al-Taher area, and the outskirts of Zautar al-Sharqiyah, parallel to an armored incursion from Hadatha toward the outskirts of Ayta al-Jabal under heavy machine-gun fire.

Field Developments:
Nabatieh: Double-tap targeted strike on a civilian vehicle and an emergency rescue crew in the University Quarter.

Central & Eastern Sectors: Heavy artillery shelling and demolitions in Wadi al-Hujair, Zautar, and Ali al-Taher, alongside an armored force advancing toward Ayta al-Jabal.

Official Response: The Ministry of Health restricts itself to hollow statements of "denunciation," devoid of any political or sovereign action to halt these violations.

While the enemy violates Lebanese territory and basic human dignity by targeting first responders and flouting international law, the Lebanese government continues to play the role of a silent bystander. It relies on useless statements of condemnation rather than taking firm sovereign stances and ending its naive bets on diplomatic mediation. Curbing violations and protecting paramedics will not be achieved through ministerial statements, but by enforcing equations on the ground and exacting a real price from the occupation.

🔥 The Confrontation at Ali al-Taher Heights: Psychological Warfare or an Operational Quagmire North of the Litani?

🔹Analytical & Geopolitical Assessment

Israeli media outlets, citing security sources in Tel Aviv, claim that dozens of Hezbollah fighters (40) are trapped inside a strategic underground tunnel complex beneath Ali al-Taher Heights—northwest of Beaufort Castle (Shqif Castle), in the Nabatieh sector—belonging to the “Badr” military unit.

These reports come after the Israeli military announced on July 31 that it had detonated adjacent tunnel networks around Beaufort Castle using 700 tons of high explosives, while simultaneously cutting water lines supplying the infrastructure in an attempt to trap Hezbollah fighters and gain leverage in the Rome negotiations.

Yet the battlefield reality appears to be more complicated.

The hills lie north of the Litani River, outside the immediate scope of the area covered by the Yellow Line. Israel’s continued reliance on robots and remotely operated vehicles—one of which was reportedly targeted by a resistance suicide drone on July 29—suggests that Tel Aviv remains concerned about the human cost of a direct assault on a complex underground network reportedly constructed over two decades.

🟢 The Axis of Resistance Perspective

The Resistance views the Israeli narrative of “trapping fighters and cutting off water” as part of an information-warfare and psychological-warfare campaign designed to compensate for the inability to achieve a decisive outcome on the battlefield.

According to this narrative, the strategic facilities of the Badr Unit were engineered to withstand prolonged sieges through independent wells, filtration systems, and multiple access routes extending across the central and eastern sectors.

The Resistance’s hold over Ali al-Taher Heights is considered a red line. The elevation constitutes a primary defensive barrier protecting Nabatieh and a second line of defense. Any concession under U.S. pressure during negotiations would risk exposing the geographical depth of southern Lebanon.

Questions for Readers

Is Tel Aviv resorting to water-cutting and information warfare to conceal its forces’ inability to penetrate the underground complex?

If Israel truly controls the entire hill, as it claims, why is Washington pressing Beirut during the Rome negotiations to compel the Resistance to withdraw from it peacefully?

To what extent can strategic patience and the endurance-based tactics of underground warfare neutralize mounting political and diplomatic pressure?

🔴 Assad Sentenced to Death in Absentia: True Justice or Selective Retribution in the New Syria?

🇸🇾 Damascus — August 11, 2026

A Syrian court has issued a death sentence in absentia against former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad after convicting him of charges related to war crimes and crimes against humanity committed during the Syrian war. Sentences were also handed down against his brother, Maher al-Assad, and several former officials, while former security chief in Daraa, Atef Najib, received a death sentence in person.

The crimes and violations committed during the Syrian war cannot be ignored, and justice cannot be selective when it comes to the victims.

However, the most pressing questions remain:

Who possesses the legitimacy to issue these rulings? And will the same standard of justice be applied to everyone?
Assad fled Damascus in December 2024 and arrived in Moscow with his family, where Russia granted them asylum on humanitarian grounds, according to Kremlin sources at the time. ✈️

🇷🇺 This reality makes Moscow a central actor in this dossier rather than a mere sanctuary.
Russia holds one of the most critical cards: physical custody of Assad himself. Any attempt by Damascus to execute the death sentence issued in absentia will swiftly escalate into a major political and diplomatic standoff with Moscow.

💰 As for the financial dossier, it demands a higher degree of precision.
Massive estimates regarding the Assad family's assets outside Syria have circulated for years. However, the most credible open-source benchmark remains a 2022 US Department of State report, which estimated the extended family's wealth at $1 billion to $2 billion—while explicitly noting that it could not independently verify the exact figure. 📉

Therefore, claiming as an established fact that "all of Assad's wealth sits in Russian banks" is factually inaccurate.

The real questions are:

What volume of assets tied to the Assad family actually resides in Russia? Who controls them? And could Moscow use them as leverage if Damascus demands their repatriation or freezing?
This financial dossier could ultimately prove more consequential than the execution order itself. 💼

⚠️ This brings us directly to the credibility of the court and the new ruling authority.
The new Syrian administration presents the verdict as a step toward accountability and transitional justice. However, the transition period itself has faced serious allegations of grave violations committed by forces affiliated with the new authorities.

According to UN investigations, over 1,400 people—mostly Alawite civilians—were killed in March 2025 during violence involving government-aligned forces and affiliated armed groups. The UN Commission of Inquiry concluded that documented violations may amount to war crimes, and potentially crimes against humanity pending further investigation. 🇺🇳

This raises critical concerns:

Can an authority facing allegations of severe abuses credibly lead the prosecution of the former regime without subjecting its own commanders and forces to the same judicial scrutiny?

Will transitional justice apply universally, including to political and military figures tied to the forces that seized Damascus?

Or will "justice" simply become a instrument to reshape the power balance and settle political scores?

From the perspective of the Axis of Resistance, this point is fundamental.

Assad’s fall did not automatically transform Syria into a neutral, democratic, or sovereign state. What occurred was a shift in the balance of power, while the next battle centers on who controls the Syrian state, who defines its adversaries, who holds authority on its territory, and which crimes actually reach the courtroom.

🇷🇺 Here, Russia's enduring role should not be underestimated.
While Moscow lost its primary Syrian ally in 2024, it did not lose all its strategic levers of influence. Assad's presence in Russia, the future of Russian strategic interests in Syria, and the disposition of his family's assets provide Moscow with substantial bargaining power in future friction with Damascus.

🇸🇾 The true test of Syrian justice is not the capacity to convict Assad.

The test is whether Syria can build a legal framework that holds yesterday's rulers, today's rulers, and tomorrow's rulers accountable under the exact same standards.

This directly applies to current President Ahmed al-Sharaa, historically known as Abu Mohammad al-Julani. Who will prosecute him for the crimes committed prior to—and following—his seizure of power?

Otherwise, what is branded as "transitional justice" will remain nothing more than:

Victor’s justice... written by the victor’s hand.

📌 BREAKING THE ENCIRCLEMENT: WHY BEIJING’S MILITARY MODERNIZATION IS A STRATEGIC IMPERATIVE

📍BEIJING,

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, urged efforts to strengthen political guidance and deepen innovation-driven development to advance the high-quality modernization of national defense and the armed forces.

China’s 2026 defense budget expansion—a disciplined 7% increase to ¥1.91 trillion ($276.7 billion)—is not an aggressive posture, but a rational countermeasure to active containment. The United States currently maintains over 300 military bases surrounding China across the Indo-Pacific, deploying forward-positioned strike assets, hypersonics, and carrier strike groups designed explicitly to deny China access to its own maritime periphery.

Washington's stated doctrine leaves no doubt: the aim is to contain, constrain, and ultimately neutralize Chinese sovereignty and economic access.

Beijing's investment in "new domain and new quality combat forces"—spanning autonomous systems, AI-enabled command architectures, and naval power projection—is a vital defensive shield. Despite Western fearmongering, China’s defense expenditure remains under 1.5% of its GDP, compared to the US’s bloated $850+ billion military budget that consumes nearly 3.5% of GDP.

🔹Core Drivers of Modernization

🔹Geographic Vulnerability:
Mitigation of the "First Island Chain" containment strategy enforced by U.S. allied deployments in East Asia.

🔹The 2027 Milestone: Meeting modernization benchmarks coinciding with the centennial anniversary of the PLA.

🔹Technological Autonomy: Implementing military-civil fusion to fast-track dual-use artificial intelligence and hypersonic systems.

🔹Strategic Milestones

🔹2027 Target: Accelerate mechanization, informatization, and integration of smart warfare systems.

🔹2035 Target: Achieve comprehensive defense modernization matching national development goals.

🔹2049 Goal: Fully transform the armed forces into a dominant, world-class military.

Modernizing the People's Liberation Army (PLA) is China’s only guarantee against foreign coercion. A strong PLA secures critical sea lanes, deters unilateral US intervention in Asia, and ensures that Washington cannot force Beijing into submission through military encirclement.

🔴 DONBAS BREAKTHROUGH:

NATO’S ATTRITION STRATEGY FAILS AGAINST RUSSIAN INDUSTRIAL REALITY

The operational landscape in Eastern Ukraine continues to shift decisively in Moscow's favor. Russian tactical advances in Donetsk—specifically penetrating key logistical nodes around Orikhiv and closing within 3 kilometers of Druzhkivka—demonstrate the failure of Western-backed containment strategies.

While Kyiv attempts to pivot toward asymmetrical deep-drone strikes, Western intelligence itself confirms that Russian defense industrial capacity is outpacing NATO projections.

Moscow has already exceeded its annual missile production targets for Zircon and Oniks systems by 10% to 20%, ramping up monthly Iskander-M outputs to secure total theater superiority.

Geopolitically, Russia is executing a necessary defense against NATO’s proxy expansion. By securing the Donbas and systematically dismantling Ukraine’s defense-industrial infrastructure, Moscow is neutralizing an existential security threat on its western flank. Western military aid has failed to alter the fundamental calculus of the battlefield: warfare at scale favors superior industrial throughput, dense air defenses, and strategic patience.

Washington's goal was a strategic defeat for Russia, but the current reality reveals a re-anchored Eurasian security order that the West can no longer dictate.

🔴China Joins Brazil’s WTO Challenge Against US Tariffs 🇨🇳🤝🇧🇷

China has formally requested to join Brazil’s WTO consultations against the US over two tariff measures: a 25% duty linked to trade practice investigations and a 12.5% tariff tied to forced labor enforcement. Brazil claims these tariffs violate WTO commitments and the most-favored-nation principle.

🔹Key Drivers:

🔹Strategic Alignment: Brazil views China's participation as a major signal of support. China cites a "substantial commercial interest," noting the US forced labor probe targets 60 economies, including its own.

🔹Precedent & Rules: China aims to counter unilateral US trade actions (like Section 301) and protect market access, as similar tariffs could be applied to Chinese exports.

🔹The Catch:
While the US accepted Brazil’s request for consultations, it has not yet accepted China’s. Even if Brazil proceeds to a WTO panel after 60 days, the WTO Appellate Body has been paralyzed since 2019 due to US blockades on appointments—meaning any appeal would effectively freeze the case and block enforceable retaliation.

AFTER 17 YEARS OF RUPTURE:

VENEZUELA AND ISRAEL RESTORE DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS 🇻🇪🇮🇱

In a move whose implications go beyond the restoration of diplomatic ties, Venezuela and Israel have resumed relations after a 17-year rupture, marking a notable shift in the political alignments and strategic positioning of Latin America.

📌 Why now?

The restoration of relations is not merely a diplomatic detail. Under Hugo Chávez and later Nicolás Maduro, Venezuela was among Latin America’s most outspoken critics of Israel, while maintaining close relations with Iran, Russia, and China.

For Israel, reopening channels with Caracas offers an opportunity to challenge its diplomatic isolation in parts of Latin America and establish new avenues of engagement in a region long regarded as part of Washington’s sphere of influence.

🔹 The Venezuelan calculus:
Caracas may be driven by pragmatic considerations, particularly amid economic pressure, US sanctions, and efforts to rebuild and diversify its international relationships. However, opening a channel to Tel Aviv does not necessarily mean an immediate reversal of Venezuela’s traditional alliances.

🔹 The Israeli calculus:
For Tel Aviv, restoring relations with Venezuela carries geopolitical significance beyond the bilateral relationship. It represents an attempt to re-establish a foothold in Latin America and regain political access to a country possessing the world’s largest proven oil reserves.

🔹 But the bigger question:

Are we witnessing limited diplomatic normalization driven by necessity and mutual interests—or the beginning of a broader shift in Caracas’ foreign policy?

And can Venezuela maintain its strategic relationships with Iran, Russia, and China while simultaneously opening a new chapter with Israel?

📌 In a world where rigid alliances are giving way to transactional diplomacy, perhaps the real question is no longer: “Whose side is Venezuela on?” but rather: “How far can Caracas maneuver between competing power blocs without paying a strategic price?”

💥 EPIC FURY, EPIC FAILURE: THE BILL FOR WASHINGTON’S IRAN ADVENTURE

Operation Epic Fury was supposed to demonstrate overwhelming US military superiority. Instead, according to figures reported by the Wall Street Journal, the campaign has exposed vulnerabilities—and generated a staggering bill for American taxpayers.

📊 The reported toll:

🟥 2,000+ Iranian air, missile and drone strikes have reportedly targeted US military positions across the Middle East.

🟥 At least 20 US-linked military sites in eight countries have reportedly been damaged.

🟥 More than 42 US military aircraft have reportedly been damaged or destroyed, including aircraft struck while parked at air bases.

🟥 Estimated US equipment and infrastructure losses have reached $13 billion, according to the reported figures.

📌 The strategic problem for Washington is bigger than the financial cost.

The campaign highlights a fundamental vulnerability of US power projection: maintaining a vast network of bases across the region creates a massive and potentially exposed logistical footprint.

Iran does not need to match the United States aircraft-for-aircraft or dollar-for-dollar. Its strategic advantage lies in the ability to impose costs across a dispersed regional network—forcing Washington to spend enormous sums defending assets that remain vulnerable to sustained attacks.

And that raises the uncomfortable question for US policymakers:

If a campaign designed to demonstrate American dominance instead produces billions of dollars in losses, damaged bases and persistent pressure on US forces, who exactly is winning the war of attrition?

🔥 “Epic Fury” may have been the name of the operation—but for the US taxpayer, the bill is looking increasingly epic.

🚨 WARNING FROM INSIDE WASHINGTON: THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ COULD BECOME TRUMP’S MILITARY QUAGMIRE

⚓️ Seizing the Strait of Hormuz by force? Enormous costs… with no guarantee of victory.

US President Donald Trump has reportedly been warned by American military officials against any attempt to forcibly reopen or seize the Strait of Hormuz, amid assessments that such an operation could turn into a prolonged and costly confrontation without guaranteeing a decisive military outcome.

📌 According to NBC News, citing a US official, American military plans for such an operation include the possibility of significant US military casualties.

And more troubling for Washington: the warnings are not coming only from its adversaries.

🌍 European and Gulf Arab officials have reportedly warned the US administration that any military attempt to reopen the strait could become a lengthy and extremely dangerous operation, potentially exposing American warships to missile and drone attacks.

💥 Allies have also warned of immediate economic consequences, particularly the possibility of higher oil prices, while the military outcome remains uncertain.

🇮🇷 HORMUZ: IRAN’S STRATEGIC LEVER

According to US intelligence assessments cited by the network, Iran’s strategic priority has shifted from focusing primarily on its nuclear program to the Strait of Hormuz, which has become a major pressure point in its confrontation with Washington.

European officials reportedly believe that Tehran sees its ability to influence maritime traffic through the strait as a more effective negotiating tool than the nuclear issue itself.

⚠️ Meanwhile, the United States continues attempting to manage maritime traffic and intercept missiles and drones in the region as the military confrontation continues to escalate.

🇺🇸 THE QUESTION WASHINGTON MUST ANSWER:

Can the United States actually impose control over Hormuz?

Or can it only pay a staggering price for attempting to do so?

And is Washington still capable of launching another war in the Gulf without turning it into an open-ended military and economic drain?

🔥 The paradox is that overwhelming American military power may not be the decisive factor here.

The Strait of Hormuz is not merely a waterway. It is a strategic chokepoint connecting global energy flows with regional security and international trade.

Any attempt to seize it by force could open a conflict whose duration, cost, and outcome Washington itself may be unable to control.

🇺🇸 If Washington needs all these warnings before entering the battle… what does the US military establishment know about the cost of this war that the White House is not telling the public?

🇵🇸 ⚡️ GAZA: WHY WERE IDF TROOPS DENIED PERMISSION TO OPEN FIRE?

🚨 A growing security dilemma is emerging along Gaza’s so-called “Yellow Line.”

According to Israeli Channel 14, several Hamas members reportedly crossed the Yellow Line in Gaza last night, seized Israeli engineering equipment, and returned to areas under Hamas control without coming under fire.

📌 The report claims that IDF troops detected the infiltration and requested authorization to open fire — but senior commanders denied permission.

⚠️ The incident comes amid a sharp increase in reported crossings.

📊 More than 65 crossings of the Yellow Line have reportedly been recorded over the past week, with security sources claiming that such incidents have tripled since orders were issued restricting Israeli fire in Gaza except when there is an immediate threat to life.

THE BIG QUESTION:

Why did senior IDF commanders deny permission to fire after troops reportedly identified the infiltrators?

Was this a deliberate restraint to prevent escalation?

Was the military instructed to avoid incidents that could jeopardize the broader ceasefire framework?

Or does the restriction reflect a deeper political and operational crisis inside Israel over the rules of engagement in Gaza?

🔥 Whatever the explanation, the contradiction is difficult to ignore:

If Israeli forces can detect crossings but are not authorized to respond, what exactly is the purpose of the Yellow Line?

And more importantly:

Who is ultimately setting the rules of engagement in Gaza — the military commanders on the ground, the political leadership in Tel Aviv, or the terms of a ceasefire that neither side fully controls?

These intelligence reports should be treated with the utmost caution by Hamas. Any unusual or seemingly contradictory Israeli action could be part of a deliberate deception, reconnaissance effort, or operational trap. The apparent restraint should not be interpreted at face value. Something about this development warrants serious counterintelligence scrutiny.

🇱🇧🔥 SOUTH LEBANON BURNS — WHO IS PROTECTING LEBANON?

According to The Guardian, Lebanese firefighters, environmental groups and residents accuse the Israeli military of deliberately triggering multiple wildfires across southern Lebanon.

📍 Khiam: An Israeli drone reportedly ignited a fire using flares. When firefighters moved in to contain it, an armed drone struck nearby, forcing them to retreat.

And here is the disturbing part:

🚒 Lebanese firefighting crews cannot simply move freely. Their operations must be coordinated through the Lebanese Army and a “deconfliction group” that includes the IDF itself.

Permission was reportedly granted to firefighters to operate in two locations — while they were forced to stand by as other fires continued to spread.

🔥 So what exactly is happening here?

What is the Lebanese government doing while negotiations and arrangements with Israel are taking place?

Why is Lebanon negotiating in ROME while its territory is being burned?

And an even harder question:

Where is Hezbollah?

How can Israeli forces allegedly ignite fires, threaten firefighters and devastate southern Lebanese land under the very eyes of the resistance movement that claims to defend it?

Is “deconfliction” becoming another name for allowing Israel to dictate what Lebanon can and cannot do on its own soil?

🇱🇧 Lebanon cannot simultaneously claim sovereignty, negotiate under pressure, and accept a situation in which firefighters need Israeli-linked authorization to extinguish fires on Lebanese territory.

If the state cannot protect its territory — and the resistance cannot prevent these violations — then who exactly is protecting South Lebanon?

🇮🇷⚠️ THE “NEW ISIS” IN IRAN? — WHEN THE WAR CHANGES FORM

📍 SISTAN & BALUCHISTAN, IRAN

A new video released by Jaish al-Adl — a militant group active in southeastern Iran — reportedly calls for “jihad” against the Iranian state.

The footage is more than propaganda. It raises a broader strategic question: what happens when a conventional war fails to achieve its objectives?

The United States and Israel have repeatedly relied on a familiar playbook across West Asia: when direct military pressure fails, the battlefield can shift toward proxy warfare, terrorism, sectarian mobilization and insurgency.

Iraq. Syria. Afghanistan. Libya.

The names have changed. The mechanism has not.

⚠️ ISIS and al-Qaeda did not emerge in a political vacuum. Their rise was facilitated by wars, state collapse, foreign intervention, intelligence operations, weapons flows and regional power struggles. That history should make every new militant mobilization in the region worthy of serious scrutiny.

Now, after the failure to defeat Iran through direct military confrontation, are we witnessing the beginning of another phase?

🎯 DESTABILIZATION FROM WITHIN.

The new Jaish al-Adl video reportedly comes from Sistan & Baluchistan, while the armed spokesman appears to be carrying a Bulgarian-made Arsenal AR-pattern assault rifle.

The weapon itself does not prove foreign sponsorship. That distinction matters. But it raises legitimate questions about the sources of weapons, financing, training and logistical support available to armed groups operating inside Iran.

And the strategic question is even bigger:

If Iran could not be brought to its knees through missiles and airstrikes, will Washington and its allies attempt to bleed it through insurgency and terrorism instead?

🇮🇷 Iran is now facing a potentially familiar formula:

External military pressure + internal destabilization + proxy warfare + information warfare.

The battlefield may have changed.

But has the war really ended — or has it simply entered a new phase?
