๐Ÿ”ด U.S. President Donald Trump on Truth Social:

๐Ÿ”˜"This morningโ€™s attack on Beirut should not have happened, particularly on a special day when we are so close to a Peace Deal with Iran. Israel has the right to defend itself against threats, but the attack it was responding to was very small and meaningless, nobody was hurt, injured, or killed, and should not disrupt this important process. We are very close to a Deal that will bring peace to the region, including to Lebanon, and all sides should stand down. There should be no more attacks by Israel anywhere in Lebanon, but there should also be no more attacks by any other party, including Hezbollah, against Israel. This could be the beginning of a long and beautiful peace โ€” Let's not blow it!"

๐Ÿ”ด Between the โ€œTrump Showโ€ and the Reality of โ€œBen Gurionโ€: A Transparent Exchange of Roles

๐Ÿ‘ What is unfolding between Washington and Tel Aviv in their public dispute over the strikes on Beirut is nothing more than a โ€œpolitical farceโ€ and a transparent distribution of roles designed to throw dust in the eyes of negotiators and advisers.

๐Ÿ‘While American political rhetoric emerges in the language of reproach and concern for peace, reports and leaks from Ben Gurion Airport reveal a starkly different reality: the airport has effectively become a fully-fledged American military hub. KC-135 aerial refueling aircraftโ€”considered the backbone of air operations against Lebanonโ€”dominate the runways under an American arrangement reportedly extending through the end of 2026.

๐Ÿ‘ The real test is not the staged quarrels played out on social media platforms, but what is happening on the ground. If Washington were truly serious about restraining Netanyahu, it would dismantle this direct military partnership and withdraw the aircraft involved in supporting operations over Beirut, rather than relocating Israeli civilian aviation to Cyprus to make room for the machinery of war.

๐Ÿ”ดTHE ISLAMABAD ILLUSION: Can a Guard Who Doesnโ€™t Own the Keys Protect the House?

๐Ÿ’ฌAs Pakistanโ€™ Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif proudly declared on Saturday, June 13, 2026, that a US-Iran peace deal was "
closer than ever before,

๐ŸŒ•" the illusion evaporated in less than 24 hours. On Sunday, June 14, 2026, the Israeli war machine tore through the heart of Beirutโ€™s southern suburbs (Dahieh), reducing a municipal facility in Haret Hreik to rubble, assassinating a senior commander of Hezbollahโ€™s Radwan Force, and filling Lebanese hospitals with innocent civilians.

๐Ÿ‘This devastating escalation did more than just break the June 1 ceasefire framework; it exposed the fundamental structural flaw in the current diplomatic theater: the absolute irrelevance of the Pakistani mediator (the self-proclaimed "guarantor" or Al-Damin).

โœŒThe Analytical Failure of the "Guarantor"
From a hard geopolitical standpoint, Pakistanโ€™s role as an intermediary between Washington and Tehranโ€”orchestrated by Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir alongside US Vice President JD Vance and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchiโ€”is built on quicksand.

โœŒFor an actor to be a true "guarantor," they must possess leverage over all parties involved, or at least the ability to enforce the terms of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Pakistan possesses neither. While Islamabad relays 15-point draft proposals back and forth, it has zero control over Tel Aviv, which acts as the wild card designed to wreck any US-Iran rapprochement that does not serve its regional hegemony.
โœŒThe Dahieh strike confirms that Israel operates with a green light from Washington to decouple the Lebanese front from the broader Iranian talks. This exposes a strategic trap: Washington plays the diplomat in Islamabad while its strategic proxy acts as the arsonist in Beirut.

๐Ÿ”˜The Axis of Resistance Perspective:

๐Ÿ‘ŒWords Written in Water
For the Axis of Resistance, history is an unyielding teacher. Veteran negotiators know that American commitments are written in water. From the tearing up of the JCPOA to the flagrant violations of the recent April 8 temporary ceasefire, Washington has a systemic habit of breaking its word.

๐Ÿ”˜The question reverberating through Beirut, Damascus, and Tehran today is simple:

๐Ÿ‘‹What is the worth of a Pakistani guarantee if it cannot prevent a Western-backed airstrike on a sovereign Arab capital?
The Resistance views this latest aggression not as an isolated incident, but as a calculated American-Israeli division of labor. While Washington pressures Tehran into an electronic signing of a peace deal to secure economic relief and open the Strait of Hormuz, Israel is deployed to aggressively degrade the Resistance infrastructure under the cynical pretext of "deterrence."
๐Ÿ‘‹The Dahieh bombing forces an immediate calculation. The strategic dilemma is stark:

๐Ÿ”˜Will Iran retaliate and hit back?

๐ŸคฒIbrahim Rezaei, spokesman for the Iranian Parliamentโ€™s National Security Committee, summarized the internal consensus on June 14: "
Even if one wants to reach an agreement, the path to that goes through punishing the Zionist regime."

๐ŸคฒA failure to respond risks exposing the Axis to further assassinations under the umbrella of flawed diplomacy.

๐Ÿ”˜What role can Pakistan realistically play now?

โœŒIslamabad cannot control its own internal economic pressures, let alone dictate terms to Netanyahusโ€™ cabinet or the Pentagon. By acting as a mailbox for US terms, Pakistan risks becoming an unwitting buffer, giving the West the diplomatic cover it needs to buy time while the field is bloodied.

โœŒThe reality on the ground is clear. Peace cannot be engineered in Islamabad hotels while bombs fall on Beirut.

โœŒIf the "guarantor" cannot guarantee the security of the alliance's vital nodes, the Axis of Resistance will rely on its own equation: the field, the rockets, and the unyielding reality of asymmetric deterrence.

๐Ÿ”ด Surprise peace agreement between Washington and Tehran mediated by Pakistan and the Gulf, official secrecy sparks controversy in Iran

๐Ÿ“ Islamabad:

๐Ÿ”˜ Despite fierce opposition from a broad segment of the Iranian public and political circles inside the country, and in light of the ongoing violations and crimes of the Israeli occupation army in the region, amid a media blackout and complete official silence from Iranian negotiators, the Prime Minister of Pakistan dropped a major political bombshell by officially announcing that a comprehensive peace agreement has been reached between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

๐Ÿ”˜ The Pakistani Prime Minister confirmed in his statement that following intensive rounds of complex negotiations, efforts succeeded in drafting an agreement that mandates an immediate and permanent cessation of military operations across all fronts and axes, including the Lebanese front.

๐Ÿ”˜ Regarding procedural details, the statement explained that the Swiss capital will host the official signing ceremony of the agreement next Friday, June 19, noting that the mediating parties will facilitate a series of preparatory meetings and technical discussions this week to finalize the touches ahead of the signing ceremony.

๐Ÿ”˜ The Prime Minister of Pakistan expressed his deep gratitude to both Washington and Tehran for their commitment to the diplomatic path, and extended special thanks to the State of Qatar for its pivotal role and mediation efforts, while also praising the significant contributions made by the leadership in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Turkey to support this historic agreement.

๐Ÿ“ŒThis sudden announcement comes at a time when the Iranian arena is witnessing a state of ferment and anticipation, as widespread fears prevail among social segments, religious elites, and political figures regarding concessions that compromise sovereignty or squander the blood of martyrs, especially given the absence of any transparent clarification from the Iranian government regarding the clauses of this agreement and the future of the region's hotspots.

๐Ÿ”ด Statement issued by a group of members of the Assembly of Experts and professors of the Islamic Seminary regarding the ongoing negotiations

๐Ÿ”น In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

๐Ÿ”˜ To the noble, steadfast people of Islamic Iran, and the honorable officials of the country:

๐Ÿ”˜ As we hear varying news regarding the negotiations and a potential agreement, we deem it our duty, as servants of the nation, to present the following points:

๐Ÿ”ข In accordance with the directives of the Martyr Imam (may Allah's pleasure be upon him), there is no secret or hidden matter when it comes to negotiating with the enemy. Transparency in informing officials in this field is the true embodiment of solidarity with the people.

๐Ÿ”ข The ultimate reference in this matter is the wisdom and directives of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution (may his shadow long endure), as well as the red lines and framework defined by him.

๐Ÿ”ข Any transgression of these red lines is an illegitimate and unacceptable act, and it will be met with the reaction of the nation.

๐Ÿ”ข In light of the repeated hostilities and aggressions of the treacherous enemyโ€”particularly the act of war manifested in the naval blockade, and the aggressions and crimes committed by the Zionist entity in Lebanonโ€”the state of confrontation with the enemy still stands, and the concept of a ceasefire is practically meaningless.

๐Ÿ”ข Considering the enemy's actions, countermeasuresโ€”especially responding to the naval blockadeโ€”are essential.

๐Ÿ”ข In accordance with the framework set by the Supreme Leader, the following must not be overlooked under any pretext: identifying and punishing the aggressor, obtaining compensation for the crimes and damages inflicted, managing the Strait of Hormuz as an unforfeitable right of the Iranian nation, and refusing to negotiate over the country's inherent right to nuclear energy.

๐Ÿ”ข The people on the ground, who have endured all hardships and blockades, are by no means prepared to compromise their national dignity and historical honor, or to harm the outcomes of the magnificent jihad of the fighters and the pure blood of the martyrs. Therefore, they will not remain silent until the final objective and the designated goals of the regime are achieved, the enemy is completely driven to despair, and the rights of the Iranian nation are restored. They will not tolerate any negligence or complacency in this regard.

๐Ÿ”ข While thanking the efforts and services of the honorable officials, they are expected to march in this divine epic behind the leadership and alongside the people, not to falter or hesitate for a single moment in fulfilling and implementing the directives and commands of the Guardian (Makam-e Velayat), and to avoid any retreat before the enemy.

๐Ÿ”ข The nation that believes in the Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist (Velayat-e Faqih), just as in the past, along with its insistence on sacred unity and grand participation in the nightly gatherings, will remain committed at all stages to the orders of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution (may his shadow long endure).

๐Ÿ”˜ We ask Almighty Allah for the continued health and glory of the nation's magnificent leadership, and victory for the proud Iranian nation.

๐Ÿ”ดThe Geneva Illusion vs. The Mud of the South: Why the US-Iran MoU Crashes into the Realities of Kfartibneet

๐Ÿ‘The ink is barely dry on the June 14, 2026 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) brokered in Islamabad between Washington and Tehran, yet its grand promises of a
"permanent ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon"

๐Ÿ‘ are already being shredded by Israeli artillery tracks in the south. While diplomats prep the tables for the formal signing in Switzerland on June 19, the core question must be asked brutally: What is the strategic worth of an American-signed paper when Netanyahist forces are actively bombing the very territory the agreement claims to protect?

๐Ÿ‘Hours after the Secretariat of Iran's Supreme National Security Council declared an immediate halt to hostilities, Israeli artillery and drone strikes hammered Kfartibneet, leaving multiple civilian casualties. Concurrently, a massive demolition operation rocked the city of Al-Khiam, and sound bombs were dropped over Haris. The message from Tel Aviv is unambiguous and has been openly carried by Yedioth Ahronoth: Netanyahu has explicitly informed Donald Trump that Israel will not withdraw from its self-declared "security zone" in southern Lebanon, regardless of Washington's signatures.

๐Ÿ”˜The Balance Sheet: Washingtonโ€™s Gambit and Tehranโ€™s Calculus

โœ๏ธTo evaluate the seriousness of this diplomatic turn, we must analyze the structural gains and losses extracted by both major powers during these multi-month negotiations:

๐Ÿ”˜The United States

๐ŸŒ•Gains:

๐Ÿ™ŒTrump secures a critical geopolitical objective: the "toll-free" reopening of the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days, defusing an energy crisis that threatened global markets. Washington halts a costly, escalatory spiral without committing ground troops, preserving its regional assets from retaliatory strikes.

๐ŸŒ•Losses:

๐Ÿ™ŒThe US exposes the absolute limits of its leverage over Tel Aviv. By failing to guarantee Israeli compliance on the ground, Washingtonโ€™s credibility as a regional guarantor is severely undermined. The administration also faces intense domestic and allied blowback for unfreezing billions in assets without obtaining immediate, hard concessions on Iranโ€™s nuclear enrichment caps.

๐Ÿ”˜The Islamic Republic of Iran

๐ŸŒ•Gains (On Paper):

๐Ÿ‘Œ Tehran has secured a basket of high-profile promises: the immediate lifting of the naval blockade, the scheduled unfreezing of $24 billion in assets ($12 billion supposedly upfront), and a pledged $300 billion Western-allied reconstruction package. Crucially, the Axis of Resistance successfully kept Iranโ€™s ballistic missile program and regional alliances off the negotiating agenda. However, given Washington's track record of tearing up signed treaties (such as the 2015 JCPOA), these massive economic lifelines remain strictly theoreticalโ€”conditional concessions on a piece of paper that have yet to materialize into hard reality while the ground remains volatile.

๐ŸŒ•Losses:

๐Ÿ‘ŒBy decoupling the implementation of economic relief from an enforceable, verifiable Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon, Tehran risks appearing to prioritize domestic economic relief over the immediate security of its frontline partners. Entering a 60-day negotiation window on its nuclear program while the Lebanese front remains hot places immense tactical strain on the ground.

๐Ÿ”ฐThe Axis of Resistance Perspective: Victory via Steadfastness, Cautious of Treachery

๐Ÿ‘From the perspective of the Axis of Resistance, this MoU is not a gesture of American goodwill, but a direct consequence of structural deterrence. Netanyahuโ€™s massive escalation against Beirut was designed to collapse the negotiation framework; instead, it accelerated it. The ultimate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz proved that the economic leverage held by the Resistance could force the White House to bypass Israeli vetoes.

However, the battlefield dictates the politics, not the reverse.

๐Ÿ‘The continuous bombardment of Kfartibneet and the refusal of Israeli forces to pull back north of the border demonstrate that Israel views this agreement as a strategic catastropheโ€”a sentiment openly echoed by Israel's Channel 12. Netanyahu is intentionally violating the understanding to drag Trump back into a direct confrontation with Iran.

๐Ÿ‘Moreover, a profound tactical dilemma emerges from the text of this agreement. If a total cessation of hostilities is strictly enforced across all fronts, it effectively strips Hezbollah of its primary deterrent mechanismsโ€”most notably, its ability to launch reconnaissance and kamikaze drones or maintain an active, kinetic threat against Israeli military positions. Without the leverage of continuous drone operations and cross-border pressure, the strategic vacuum will inevitably be exploited. The critical risk here is that a quiet frontline provides the Israeli military with the operational comfort it needs to fortify its positions, entrench its intelligence infrastructure, and solidify its occupation of southern Lebanese territory without facing immediate consequences.

๐Ÿ”ปTherefore, the Resistance views the MoU with extreme skepticism: Paper agreements do not protect borders; active deterrence does.

๐Ÿ”˜The Return of the Earth: The Sovereignty of the Displaced

๐Ÿ‘‹While municipalities across Tyre and Nabatiyeh, alongside the Lebanese National News Agency, issue urgent warnings telling citizens to delay their return due to unexploded cluster munitions and dangerous Israeli debris, the people of the south are rewriting the rules of the conflict.
Tens of thousands are returning to villages completely stripped of electricity, water, and basic infrastructure. They are choosing to live amidst the grey rubble of their ancestral homes rather than endure the indignity of being locked up in crowded school shelters. This return is not a logistical mistake; it is an act of popular resistance. By physically reoccupying the land under fire, the people of the south are effectively nullifying Israel's attempts to enforce a depopulated "security buffer zone," proving that true sovereignty is held by those who belong to the soil, not those who bomb it from afar.

๐Ÿ”ด Scenes showing the transit of the first Malta-flagged gas tanker through the Strait of Hormuz following the agreement between the United States and Iran.

๐Ÿ’ฌThe Geopolitical & Economic Significance of the First Tanker Transit

๐ŸŒ•The passage of the Malta-flagged LNG carrier Disha through the Strait of Hormuz on June 15, 2026, is a watershed moment following the June 14 US-Iran Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Moving through Iranโ€™s designated traffic separation route at 10 knots with its AIS transmitter actively broadcasting, its significance can be broken down into three critical levels:

1โƒฃ De-escalation Verified by the Market:

๐Ÿ™ŒFor over three months, the closure of this 33-kilometer chokepoint paralyzed roughly 20% of global liquefied natural gas (LNG) and 25% of seaborne oil trade, crashing daily transits from an average of 135 to a mere trickle. The unhindered movement of the Disha immediately sent benchmark Brent crude and US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) tumbling by around 5%. It serves as the first real-world proof of life for the Islamabad-brokered truce.

2โƒฃ A Litmus Test for Iranian Control:

๐Ÿ™ŒUnder the draft terms of the peace arrangement, the reopening of the Strait is to be managed directly by Iranian authorities within a 30-day window. By permitting a vessel flying a foreign open-registry flag (Malta) to pass unmolested, Tehran is signaling its strict adherence to the initial phase of the agreement, effectively using maritime traffic as diplomatic leverage before the formal signing in Switzerland on June 19.

3โƒฃ Persistent Strategic Risk:

๐Ÿ™ŒDespite Donald Trumpโ€™s declaration that the Strait is open "toll-free," international shipowners and insurers remain highly skeptical. With portions of the waterway structurally compromised by recent naval mines and over 40 vessel attacks recorded during the hostilities, this single transit is a tentative test balloon. It highlights the vast friction between nominal diplomatic breakthroughs and the reality of a highly volatile, heavily weaponized maritime corridor.

The "Magazine Depth" Dilemma: How Russia Turned the Persian Gulf into a Digital Trap for Washington

๐Ÿ‘The technical military phrase โ€œMagazine Depthโ€ explains why the United States Navy found its regional hegemony paralyzed in the Persian Gulf during the high-stakes naval standoff leading up to the June 14, 2026, bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

๐Ÿ‘While the Western public focused on political rhetoric, the Pentagon was quietly brought to a standstill by a brutal mathematical reality and an unexpected asymmetric partnership between Tehran and Moscow.

๐Ÿ‘Understanding the Term: What is "Magazine Depth"?
In naval warfare, "Magazine Depth" refers to the fixed capacity of a warshipโ€™s vertical launch systems (VLS)โ€”the total number of interceptor missiles a ship carries before it must completely withdraw from a combat zone to rearm.

๐Ÿ‘A standard US Navy Arleigh Burke-class destroyer carries exactly 96 missile cells. In a high-intensity theater, these tubes cannot be reloaded at sea; the ship must dock at a specialized, secure port to replenish its inventory.

๐Ÿ‘The strategic bleeding facing the US Navy in the Persian Gulf was defined by a devastating cost-asymmetry ratio:

โšช๏ธThe US Defense Equation:

๐Ÿ‘ŒA $2 billion American destroyer is forced to expend a $4 million interceptor missile (such as the SM-2 or SM-6).

โšช๏ธThe Adversary Equation:

โœŒThe interceptor is fired just to neutralize a crude, mass-produced $20,000 loitering munition or decoy drone.
If an adversary floods the airspace with cheap, swarm-tactics drones, a US warship will drain its 96-missile "magazine depth" within hours. The moment those tubes are empty, the ship's defensive shield vanishes, leaving the multi-billion-dollar asset entirely defenseless.

โšช๏ธThe Secret Factor: Russiaโ€™s Role in the Maritime Electronic Trap

๐Ÿ™ŒThe paralysis of the US Navy was not achieved by Iranian manufacturing alone. According to intelligence breakdowns highlighted during the crisis, Russian military reconnaissance satellites served as the high-tech "eyes" for Tehran over the Persian Gulf.

๐Ÿ”ฝMoscow altered the naval balance of power through two distinct mechanisms:

๐Ÿ”ข Military-Grade Electronic Warfare (EW):

๐ŸคฒRussian assets flooded the combat radars of the US fleet with highly sophisticated electronic jamming. This pushed the most advanced naval radar systems on Earth into a "digital fog," blinding their long-range target discrimination capabilities.

๐Ÿ”ข Saturating the VLS Tubes:

๐ŸคฒBy blinding American tracking systems and feeding false telemetry, the EW interference forced US commanders to fire multiple expensive interceptors at phantom targets and low-cost decoys, systematically exhausting the fleet's magazine depth without destroying actual hostile assets.

โšช๏ธThe Tactical Corner: Washington's Dead End

๐ŸŒ•By mid-2026, Washington realized it was cornered in a zero-sum chess match. If the US Navy attempted to break the maritime blockade by force, it faced an immediate depletion of its magazine depth under a hail of cheap drones and Russian-assisted electronic warfare.
An empty magazine meant risking the loss of capital ships or watching the Strait of Hormuz shut down entirelyโ€”an event that would instantly halt 20% of the world's oil supply and triple global fuel prices within days.

๐ŸŒ•Faced with the choice between a humiliating tactical retreat or launching a first-strike scenario that risked a global conflict, the Pentagon chose diplomacy. The "Magazine Depth" equation directly forced Washington to sit at the negotiating table, culminating in the historic signing of the June 14 framework.

๐Ÿ”ดStatement Issued by Hezbollah:

๐Ÿ”นIn the Name of Allah,

๐Ÿ”ป "And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might."

๐Ÿ™Œ Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

๐Ÿ”˜ Hezbollah congratulates the Islamic Republic of Iran, both leadership and people, on the great achievement of reaching the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United States of America, which has resulted in a comprehensive ceasefire across all fronts, including Lebanon. This great achievement is the fruit of the legendary steadfastness, exceptional resilience, and immense sacrifices made by the dear Iranian people and their wise leadership, who remained committed to national choices that preserve their dignity, sovereignty, and independence.

๐Ÿ”˜ On this great occasion, Hezbollah extends its salutations and appreciation to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei (may his shadow endure), who guided this phase with unparalleled wisdom, courage, and foresight. We also extend our congratulations to the President of the Republic, the Iranian government, the valiant Armed Forcesโ€”including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Armyโ€”and the brotherly Iranian people. We express our deep gratitude for their unwavering stance alongside Lebanon, its people, and its resistance, and for their insistence that Lebanon be present in any understanding that leads to the cessation of the war and preserves its rights. They bore the burdens of siege and aggression for this cause, proving once again that the Islamic Republic is truly the best supporter and a powerful, loyal ally.

๐Ÿ”˜ Hezbollah also salutes all the countries that participated, contributed, aided, and accompanied the efforts to remove obstacles to achieving this agreement. We stress that Lebanon must make the best use of this regional and international umbrella to achieve Lebanese sovereignty and liberate its land within the framework of internal unity.

๐Ÿ”˜ We extend our highest salute to the people of honor, dignity, and prideโ€”the loyal people of the resistance, and our displaced people. A salute to their patience, endurance, steadfastness, and sacrifices, and to everything they have offered in the face of this barbaric aggression. They have truly proven that they are a proud people and "the most honorable of people," as described by the Master of the Nation's Martyrs, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

๐Ÿ”˜ A salute to the leadership of the resistance and its heroic and brave Mujahideen, the nation's fortified shield and its impregnable fence, who offered their pure blood and holy souls for the pride of their homeland and the dignity of their people. They fought heroic epics wherein the Israeli enemy witnessed a glimpse of their might and tasted the bitterness of defeat.

๐Ÿ”˜ While we emphasize that what has been achieved is a prelude to completing the path of full liberation of our land, the return of our prisoners to their homeland and families, the return of all residentsโ€”especially the people of the frontline confrontation villagesโ€”to their villages and homes, and the reconstruction of what was destroyed by the aggression, we call upon our steadfast people to exercise patience and wait for the directives of the relevant authorities regarding a safe return to their villages and towns, ensuring their safety and avoiding any risks that may arise from potential Israeli enemy violations.

๐Ÿ”˜ The Israeli enemy must understand that there is no return to the pre-March 2nd status quo, and that the resistance, which was and remains the watchful eye protecting the homeland and its people, will not accept any aggression that violates the sovereignty of its nation or the blood of its people. The resistance will remain committed to Lebanon's legitimate and steadfast right to defend its land, people, and sovereignty until full withdrawal is achieved and the prisoners are returned.

๐Ÿ”ดRecord $19.2bn in Israeli Arms Exports for 2025: Arab States Purchase $2.9bn

๐Ÿ’ฌNewly released data from the International Defense Cooperation (SIBAT) of Israelโ€™s Ministry of Defense reveals that Israeli arms exports reached an all-time record of $19.2 billion in 2025. This marks a 30% increase from 2024 and the fifth consecutive record-setting year.

๐Ÿ”˜Key Figures & Data:

๐ŸŒ•Total Exports: $19.2 billion (a 56.1% increase since the Gaza conflict began).

๐ŸŒ•Europe: The largest regional buyer at $6.9 billion (36%).

๐ŸŒ•Middle East & North Africa (Arab Allies): Purchased $2.9 billion (15%), surpassing sales to North America (13%).

๐ŸŒ•India: The single largest state purchaser of Israeli weapons.

๐Ÿ”˜Key Regional Details:

๐Ÿ‘ UAE: Established a joint fund with Israel to develop weapons systems, integrated air defense systems, and conducted coordinated military operations against Iran in early 2026.

๐Ÿ‘Morocco: Chose Elbit Systems over France's KNDS in early 2025, becoming Israel's second-largest weapons supplier.

๐Ÿ‘Azerbaijan & Turkmenistan: Azerbaijan sourced roughly 70% of its weapons from Israel, while Turkmenistan acquired Skystriker kamikaze drones from Elbit Systems.

๐Ÿ”˜Context:

๐Ÿค”The surge in sales persists despite international legal actions, including ongoing International Court of Justice (ICJ) genocide genocide proceedings filed by South Africa, and November 2024 International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrants for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

๐Ÿ”ดThe Illusion of Understanding: Trump Barters with an Unsecured Memorandum

๐Ÿ’ฌOn June 14, 2026, U.S. President Donald Trump announced the signing of a preliminary Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), mediated by Pakistan, to end the three-month-old war raging with Iran. In a succession of statements, Trump claimed the agreement guarantees Iran will not possess a nuclear weapon, threatening to open
"the gates of hell" if Tehran seeks to do so

๐ŸŒ•. He also described the war in Lebanon as "
secondary

๐ŸŒ•" and revealed his proposal to Israel that Syria take care of Hezbollah, while leveling sharp criticism at Benjamin Netanyahu by stating that the attack on Beirut does not appeal to him, reminding him: "
Without me, there would be no Israel."

๐Ÿ”ฝFrom an analytical and critical geopolitical perspective, this memorandum is not a strategic settlement, but rather a fragile tactical truce in which Washington has squandered its leverage. Trump is driven by domestic pressures and the approaching U.S. midterm elections, seeking to lower oil prices and declare a swift diplomatic victory.

๐Ÿ”˜However, the memorandum deferred the most complex filesโ€”chief among them the Iranian nuclear program and Tehran's stockpiling of more than 400 kilograms of highly enriched uranium close to military-grade purityโ€”to technical negotiations set to begin in Geneva on June 19, 2026.
From the perspective of the Axis of Resistance, this agreement is not read as a shift in American intentions, but rather as a forced retreat dictated by battlefield equations and the steadfastness of the fronts. This was translated by official state media in Tehran under the headline: "America Was Forced to End the War."

๐Ÿ”˜Nevertheless, the memorandum opens the door to existential contradictions and difficult questions facing the regional public today:

๐Ÿ”ข Can Trump be trusted?

๐Ÿ‘ŒWe are talking about the exact same president who, with the stroke of a pen in 2018, overturned the internationally fortified 2015 nuclear deal (JCPOA). If formal international treaties did not bind Washington, what is the actual value of a temporary memorandum of understanding?

๐Ÿ”ข The Sovereign and Historical Contradiction:

๐Ÿ‘ŒHow can Tehran sign a memorandum of understanding with the very person who issued the assassination order of the martyr leader Qassem Soleimani in January 2020, the architect of the resistance's regional strategy? Furthermore, how does it align to conclude a treaty with an administration that provides intelligence, logistical support, and political cover for systematic Israeli assassinations targeting top military and political leadership in Iranโ€”most notably the assassination of the martyr Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei (Leader of the Iranian Republic)? Can political pragmatism coexist with an ongoing, direct campaign aimed at undermining the leadership structure of the Axis? How can political pragmatism align with blood that has not yet dried?

๐Ÿ”ข The Commodification of the Lebanese Front:

๐Ÿ‘ŒWhen Trump describes the war in Lebanon as "secondary" and attempts to bargain over the weapon of the resistance, he confirms the obvious: in the eyes of Washington, regional fronts are nothing more than bargaining chips in the grand game of nations.
With Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz explicitly declaring that Tel Aviv will not abide by the American framework and is continuing its occupation of southern
Lebanon, the most important question becomes: Does Trump actually possess the ability to bind anyone to this agreement, or is he selling an illusion to secure his electoral interests?

๐Ÿ”ดThe Abraham Accords Framework Reborn: How the Trump-Iran MOU Betrays the Axis Infrastructure

๐ŸŒ•The preliminary Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) announced on June 14, 2026, between Donald Trump and Iran is not a standalone diplomatic breakthrough; it is the direct structural expansion of the Abraham Accords framework designed to neutralize the Axis of Resistance through transactional isolation.

โšช๏ธThe Structural Connection and Proofs

๐Ÿ‘The core philosophy of the 2020 Abraham Accords was to build a regional security architecture that integrates Israel while bypassing the core political rights and resistance fronts of the region. The 2026 MOU applies this exact transactional model directly to Tehran.
The proofs lie within the operational details of the deal:

โšช๏ธThe Pakistan-Geneva Pipeline:

๐Ÿ‘By utilizing Pakistani mediation to secure a tactical freeze on Iran's 400kg stockpile of near-weapons-grade uranium ahead of the June 19 Geneva talks, Trump is replicating the exact back-channel diplomacy used to secure the normalization deals with the UAE and Morocco.

โšช๏ธThe Containment Outsource:

๐Ÿ‘Trumpโ€™s public statement that he suggested Syria "take care" of Hezbollah proves the underlying logic of the Abraham Accordsโ€”treating regional liberation movements as security liabilities to be traded away or managed by third parties to guarantee Israeli security.

โšช๏ธThe Maritime Trade-Off:

๐Ÿ‘Lifting the U.S. naval blockade on the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for nuclear concessions mirrors the economic incentives used during the initial normalization waves, treating strategic maritime choke points as corporate bargaining chips rather than sovereign red lines.

โšช๏ธImpact on the Resistance Fronts (Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq)

๐ŸŒ•By separating the nuclear file from the regional defense architecture, the MOU aims to strategically isolate the operational arenas of the Axis of Resistance:

๐Ÿค”Lebanon:

๐ŸŒ•Trump explicitly labeled the devastating war in Lebanon as "secondary." This rhetoric gives a green light to Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz to reject the U.S. framework openly, maintaining the occupation of southern Lebanon and intensifying strikes on Beirut without fear of broader regional escalation.

๐Ÿค”Yemen & Iraq:

๐ŸŒ•For the popular mobilization forces in Iraq and Ansarallah in Yemen, the MOU serves as an institutional attempt to cut the logistical and political lines linking Tehran to the shared operational fronts. It isolates these arenas, leaving them exposed to concentrated U.S.-Israeli kinetic strikes under the guise of "local counter-terrorism."

โšช๏ธThe Sovereign Contradiction and the Silence of Leadership

๐ŸŒ•For the regional street and the resistance cadres, this creates a profound, painful historical and systemic contradiction. Entering into an MOU with Donald Trumpโ€”the political architect who ripped up the 2015 JCPOA and ordered the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani and the iraqi leader Abu Mahdi Al Mohandis in 2020โ€”presents an existential crisis for the credibility of revolutionary diplomacy.

๐ŸŒ•How can formal understandings be reached with an empire that systematically funds, tracks, and provides intelligence cover for the continuous decapitation strikes against top-tier military and political leadership across the region?

๐ŸŒ•Significantly, amidst this strategic friction, the current Leader of Iran, Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, has notably maintained absolute silence and has still not given any comment on the MOU. This silence from the highest echelon of the Islamic Republic speaks volumes. It highlights a deep institutional friction and a calculated refusal to endorse a transactional arrangement that undermines the very regional defense doctrine built over decades of sacrifice.

๐Ÿ”ดMessage from His Eminence Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen, Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, to the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Dr. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf

๐Ÿ”นIn the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

๐Ÿ™ŒHis Excellency the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Dr. Mohammad Reza Ghalibaf, may God support and protect you.

๐Ÿ‘ŒPeace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.

๐Ÿ”˜Words fail to adequately express our profound gratitude for your strong and supportive positions toward Lebanon, its people, and its resistance, and for your efforts to compel the Israeli entity to immediately and permanently cease military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon, in connection with ending the war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, as the primary and foundational condition of any agreement between Iran and the United States.

๐Ÿ”˜You transformed the only effective ray of hope capable of restraining Israeli-American aggression against Lebanon into a tangible reality. In doing so, you demonstrated to the world that Iran stands as a champion of justice, resistance, and the oppressed. Had others followed its path, neither the United States nor Israel would have become so arrogant, nor would the Zionist occupation still be entrenched on the land of Palestine and Jerusalem.

๐Ÿ”˜We have always said that Iran has given Hezbollah, the resistance, and the people of Lebanon everything, while taking nothing in return. It has supported us in our choices and strengthened us so that we could liberate our land, heal the wounds of our society, and assist our people. Today, Iran is offering its blood as well. It confronts the Zionist entity by striking it in response to its bombardment of Beirutโ€™s southern suburb, bearing consequences that threaten to draw it into war and entail immense sacrifices.

๐Ÿ”˜I say this openly and unequivocally: Iran is an icon of dignity and honor.

๐Ÿ”˜I thank you on behalf of Hezbollah and its Islamic Resistance; on behalf of the people of Lebanon who have asked us to convey their gratitude to you; and on behalf of the martyrsโ€”foremost among them the Master of the Martyrs of the Nation, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (may Allah be pleased with him)โ€”as well as the wounded and the prisoners.

๐Ÿ”˜I also thank you in your capacity as chief negotiator, together with your direct team, including Foreign Minister Dr. Abbas Araghchi. I ask that you convey our gratitude and appreciation to the Leader, Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei (may his shadow endure), who has enveloped us with his care and revived among us the blessings and guidance of the martyred Imam Khamenei (may Allah sanctify his soul); to President Dr. Pezeshkian, who is devoted to the resistance; to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, this luminous force that altered the balance through its strength and determination; and to the army, the intellectual elite, and all official and popular institutions and organizations.

๐Ÿ”˜I wish to make special mention of the great Iranian people. We saw them gathered in the squares of Iranian cities, and we heard their calls expressing their readiness to sacrifice their lives to save the resistance and its people.

๐ŸŒ•Thank you.

๐ŸŒ•Thank you to loyal Iran.

๐ŸŒ•Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.

๐Ÿ”ฐ Sheikh Naim Qassem

๐ŸŒŸ Secretary-General of Hezbollah
